Most people play the games because they're good, rather than because they're "nostaligic", whatever that means.
@macadaisy4 жыл бұрын
@@rodneyharrington5049 you can look up what the word means pretty easily. These games were released a long time ago and folks like to do things from when they were younger, like watching a movie you liked that was released a long time ago

You know, can I just say, that the culprit of this game is almost scarily competent compared to the other culprits in the game series. I mean, think about it - not only are they one of the few who attempts to cover up their tracks, but one of the few who tries to outright frame the other suspects. (And get Lupe kicked out - since she's the only one who can't be blamed on the bombings.) They plant evidence showcasing a potential motive for sabotage, cover up their tracks, then in the final act pull off an act that they could have gotten away no matter what. Think about it. The evidence is pointing towards another suspect. The culprit offers to go and contact the police, but also asks Nancy if THEY should stay behind. No matter what, they coudl have won: -Nancy stays behind while they contact the police? They'd blow up the only other witness AND any evidence. -Nancy goes to contact the police while they stay behind? They take time to hide the detonator, and they back up nancy's story.

This game makes me kind of sad, it's the only one that takes place in my home country of Canada, and it's the only one that got ported onto a major console, but honestly, it's kinda boring. There are very few puzzles I consider to be good, the characters are largely kinda weak, and the rest of the story is one of the most forgettable in the entire series. It sucks because with it being ported onto the wii, it had the best opportunity to bring exposure to the series it may have ever had, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if many people tried it on the wii, got bored and never picked up another one again.

I was really surprised to see this format for making the meals; Turns out it’s vastly different between the wii version (which I had) and (what I assume to be) the PC version, probably since the wii could support motion controls. I wish they hadn’t used motion controls though, haha-it made the meal-making parts IMPOSSIBLE
