This game was also my introduction to the Nancy Drew games! I had gotten it as a Christmas present, when I was a kid. It wasn't until some time later that I discovered your youtube channel and that really got me invested in the game series.

The haunted carousel was my first Nancy drew game too,I remember getting it at a Walmart or target with my mom it was the ultimate games for girls computer disc and kid me was so scared playing it lol so sadly I never got to finish it

I just replayed this game for the first time since childhood, and also since the first time my own father died, and solving the riddles with Joy and talking with her (and Miles lol) really did make me cry a lot. If you call Bess and George and tell them about Joy destroying her mother’s pictures in grief they are… super cruel about it and talk about how her needing a shrink keeps her at the top of Nancy’s suspect list. 🥴

While he was talking about the sundae it made me think of my mom’s delicious dessert. Layers of Chocolate pudding Chocolate brownies Crumbled up Heath Bars Whipped cream Layered over and over till the container is full or you feel like it is ready for consumption. Hope y’all love it! 😸

This was my first Nancy Drew game ever - it was the carousel horse that drew (ayyy) me in, and it's the one I've played the most for sure. I haven't had time to play a full ND game these days so it's nice to be able to watch them while I'm working and relive my childhood!

Mmm lemon loaf. I love lemon bread. Yeah a lot of food is gone from grocery stores. My family has had to get some food from the convenient stores at gas station and going straight to a meat market place and bakery for breads and meats. I’m glad you’re doing a marathon since I kinda bored and there isn’t too much to watch on Tv and not too much to do outside of homework.

I would assume Nancy is AT LEAST 18 in every game. There doesn’t seem to ever be any mention of her being a high schooler, but I remember that there is reference of Ned being at college in one or more of the older games.

Idk why but I have such a different memory of this game… I remember it starting with a ride on the carousel and it seemed really dark, old and creepy. And then 10 minutes in, the disc would begin skipping and would no longer work so I never got any further lol. I’m very curious if this game was modified at all after releasing it, or if someone my memory was skewed LOL

10:35 Did you know that you can use strips of toilet paper instead of the tissue paper from Elliott to use on the pipe organ??? You have to click on the toilet paper once you know that you have to use something to figure out which notes to play. And you can only grab it if you’re about to pull the ironing board down.

Yeah, making your own clothes would cost a whole lot more than just buying a shirt. Granted it's usually better quality than nearly everything store-bought with the fast fashion trends, but buying the fabric and all is a lot more expensive XD

That depends on what you’re making. If it’s a shirt, it would be cheaper to buy one but if it’s a fancy dress then it would be cheaper to make one but results could vary on that too.
