Just got my new Clubman JCW! Didn't go for this launch edition because I HAD to have the Chili Red roof/mirrors and wanted a lighter color with racing stripes. Ended up ordering a custom spec Iconic trim with Indigo Blue Chesterfield leather for the power seats. (and still prefer leather over alcantara). Love the car. There's really nothing else quite like it on the road. A premium hot hatch wagon with AWD and 300+ hp and torque while still providing a very accommodating interior for a family of four. 😯 Oh and you can have multi-colored accents and racing stripes. 😎 Never thought I'd buy a MINI but the bump in power put the Clubman on my radar where it never would have been otherwise. And I don't regret my choice for a moment. Nice review here. Surprised this is the only review on KZbin with the launch edition. Well played. 👍

Honestly I never cared much for Minis until I saw one of these Clubman JCW fly by during a drive home from work. I was always looking at getting a WRX STI or Golf R in the near future, but looking at the specs of the Clubman JCW All4 it has lot of similar traits and a pretty rare sight around my neighborhood. When this lockdown is over, I would definitely find a Mini dealer and take a closer look and perhaps a test drive.

That was the one deal-breaker I had with the previous car, that US law and the tail lights. I'm so glad they started doing it the way Audi has it on the Q7 and even the Chevy Bolt. This car RULES now with these updates.

Love it. Too bad there's no manual. How does the valved exhaust work? Does it automatically open when you put it in sport mode?

Is it a special down-powered version? or is it differ in US? Because 2020 JCW Clubman all4 is 306hp not 301. I know it does not make a difference at all but numbers on papers tells it as 306.

are they planning to increase the Clubman S HP from 189 to something? I hope they do because it seems like it would be a waste if they didn't up the HP for the Clubman S

The MINIac hopefully they’ll do that bump up for the Clubman S. Is the JCW tuning kit available on all mini shops? Currently in Japan and currently saving up for an s model

I always wondered why the newer 2.0 engines are still putting out about the same HP numbers as the old 1.6 in the S models. You would think having a bigger engine and efficient turbo would net higher numbers. They do make aftermarket tuner boxes that raises the HP and TQ numbers by a good amount by NM engineering. www.nm-eng.com/338/0/0/3128/nm648846-nm-eng-power-module.html

In the UK, the same car comes with 306hp. Not sure why th US, import is only 301hp.

Mainly due to wide offset. The wheel spoke bows out to clear the Brembo calipers.
