@slick67cuda The latest news seems to be there will be a 2020 Fit for the US, but it will not be the new 4th generation style that the rest of the world will be provided. So no 4WD, no hybrid engines for the US.

They’re going to pull the current gen car from the Australian market too. The Fit is known as Jazz in Australia, and it looks like we wont get the all-new model. What a shame.

Here in Europe, only the hybrid is available. WTF?! And it only has 109hp from a 1.5 liter which used to have 130hp. This requires a protest.

I just hope that this didn't lose the practicality of the previous Fits. Over the past 3 generations, the Fit and the Nissan Versa Note have proven that small hatchbacks can still store a lot of stuff. Sadly, the Note has been discontinued, and I'm not a fan of the HRV as it only added more footprint without adding more practicality. A new Fit with the practicality of its predecessors is our only hope and I hope that this Fit can be that to make up for the design that will take time to get used to

No point for Honda to sell the Fit in the U.S. if they don't sell. Americans would rather buy compact SUVs over compact cars. For 2019, Honda sold 385k CR-Vs and only 35k Fits in the U.S. On the positive side, the last update that I had heard was that Honda was still on the fence on bringing the Fit to the US. But its not looking good.

Seems to be a solid, practical car with really great mileage. Perfect for commuting and getting from point A to point B. It is surprisingly spacious as well despite being a compact car. I don't think it looks bad... I'll be sure to check one of those out at the dealer soon.

I own the previous generation (2017) and I can't say I would upgrade to this new one. The styling is uninspiring and ugly in some regards, and the interior materials quality has not improved. I also own a 1994 Honda Civic and practically the entire interior of that car is soft touch, meanwhile Honda can't give us padded door armrests in 2020. I'm very disappointed

Yeah, that!s how cutting costs and trying to keep up with emission regulations at the same time looks like. New Fit/Jazz looks weird and ugly, feels cheap and plastic in the interior (according to this video) .... In my country it will be available soon as a 2WD hybrid only and the price will be roughly 1,5x higher than the price of other manufacturer's cars a level higher (compact Hyundai i30, Renault Megane etc...) Having said that, I'm sure that the driving experience will be superb. My mother owns a CR-V hybrid and it's a very smooth ride with low fuel consumption, very quiet under normal driving conditions.
