Love my Maxima. I sold my 2016 Audi Q5 and bought a 2020 Maxima SR and I can’t be happier with my decision. The maxima sr is so much more fun to drive.

I was always a fan of the Maxima. I owned a 2005 model. They got too hard for me to get into and out of, so I moved from the Maxima to the Murano.

Another great review Chris! Back in the day, the Maxima was their flagship and had gone unnoticed, similar to the Toyota Avalon. I'm still not a fan of the CVT transmission. As far as the cockpit goes, it is very nice, yet your recent review of the Corvette, showed a cockpit that was snug and you didn't have to reach far for anything. I'm not comparing the two cars, but for a sports car cockpit, the Vette wins. lol Thanks for the cubic feet conversion of the trunk capacity. I like your review of the backseat, but please remind us of your height. It has great headroom, unless you are a little person. Is that Niagara Falls in the background?

I have a 2018 SR midnight edition in white pearl. I've added extra power with a full Stillen cat back exhaust and Stillen cold air intake. Motordyne is the only other company that makes a true reliable full cat back exhaust for the Maxima. I also placed the 3M clear paint protection film on my car that covers the bumper, hood, mirrors, pillars and the expel film for my headlights. I'll hope to have mine paid off next year.

People don't have no respect for others property by opening their car doors causing dings and dents. In February of 2021 I'll have my maxima for 3 years and I take care of everything I own. @Overstand_Thinking It's very noticeable power. If I were to guess it would be 15 more horses and 10lbs of torque. Also Stillen comes with a lifetime warranty and I've had this setup on my maxima going on 4 years. No complaints at all. As I don't drive the car much. My girlfriend has it now. Many compliments on the sound of the exhaust that I receive from co workers and strangers. The two pipes also stick out about a half inch longer than the stock ones.

well if your looking for a low cost of ownership the maxima would certainly be the one. The BMW will be a smoother ride with more tech however your will spend more in the long run

Love the maxima but for a flagship sedan and price point all wheel drive and pro pilot assist should be standard equipment or make the altima a 300 horse power beast.🤔

yes unfortunately they cant add the propilot to the maxima due to the hydraulic steering. same with the murano

The maxima SR looks better than the platnium 2 me and with the SR u get leather and alcantara which helps in thd summer the seats wont be as hot and it just looks better..... Thats basically the only difference in the 2 and a few other not so important things but SR exterior midnight version is the cleanest sportier look with luxury still......

They r definitely struggling financially . With the Corona virus and all the issues with their last CEO. The media has not out Nissan in a good light. I don't expect the Micra to come back to Canada any time soon as they just don't sell

The TRD is a bit overpriced compared to the trim right below it. Only difference on the TRD is the aesthetic (paint, spoiler, I think interior and some other stuff). If you wait a few years you might be able to find one used at a better price. Test drive both of them too.
