The nice thing about a binder is that even if the whole thing doesn't fit in a bag, you can pull out just what you need and don't have to worry roving eyes glancing stray journal pages.

Your videos make me so happy! My bullet journal works the same way as your binder, but I find I don't need a4 paper for my to do lists for each day, so a5 works best for me. You also inspire me to do a cash budgeting system, however my bank has a system where you can round up your spending and that goes into a savings, so I'm saving money whenever I spend without thinking about it, but I should definitely give myself a budget each month

I use a Filofax personal size almost the same way as a wallet. I use the card holders and then zippered vinyl posckets for my cash categories. 😊

I just want to say thanks for the layout suggestions for your LV personal planner/wallet. I took advantage of your suggestions from quite a while ago for the content and turned my favorite personal Filofax into a my wallet as well - I have to say, I love, Love LOVE using it as a wallet! 💕 It has made my life So. Much. Easier. ♥️ I was also able to find the Cambridge Notebook that you showed in this video. (Although I have seen it in your videos before.) Ironically, I only just found it though. But I’m so glad I did. I have been looking for a soft/flexible Letter-sized notebook, and just happened to see this one when I was in Target about 2 weeks ago. It is perfection! Mine is almost like a very pale lavender color - given that lavender is both my favorite color and scent, I feel like I struck the jackpot! LoL Anyway... Well, I knew I should have marketed our budget system when we got married 50 years ago. We called it the envelope system and I carried around in my purse a bunch of envelopes, labeled, like yours, with cash and that's what we lived on and still do. They used to laugh at me at the bank when I would come in and ask for my bigger bills to be changed into 5.00 bills for my envelopes. lol

The fastener on my lovely leather Filofax broke soon after I got it. I had to send it back for a replacement. It sounds ridiculous but I miss it! I have gone back to my old cheaper faux leather one and it’s just not the same.

Charlotte, I just love your planner videos! I had a question about the castle dashboard in your Louis Vuitton planner. Did you make or buy that? I have the beloved pink binder from Target and am trying to organize my sections after reading your e-book. I have been having trouble getting the right amount of tabs (I like your idea to use file folders). I need to have pocket folders in mine to hold stuff and the dividers were smaller than the pocket folders and the tabs didn’t show. (Planner problems lol) I think I may try the file folder method you shared. Also, for anyone reading this, I highly recommend Charlotte’s new e-book. It has soooo many helpful tips! I am a Mom and a teacher but I plan to share it with my daughter who is 21 and in college. I think the system would work well for so many different ages/life circumstances.
