I must say I took your suggestions as for combining my mm as wallet and planner. I absolutely love this! It's been a week and so far so good. I added another zipper pouch for my grocery coupons and then of course one for VS/BBW/Kohl's coupons. :-) I do still need to find my own dashboard and dividers.

Great video! I use a Gillio Orange Compagna but covet the LV MM! I use my "personal" size as a wallet as well with the Filofax card inserts. I echo the praise they receive. Sometimes it does take me a bit at check-out but I think it is worth it. Trying to follow Dave Ramsey as well but it is so difficult to stick to a budget--I blame Etsy. Thanks for the comment! Two things I meant to say in this video... 1) YES, it does take a while at checkout but I try to be as quick and courteous as I can and then wrap up in the car or somewhere. And 2) I need to do a whole separate video on this, but the way I budget for online purchases like Amazon and Etsy (which yes, totally can ruin a budget!) is to buy myself gift cards to there for my budgeted amount, then only shop on those sites with the gift card so that I don't over-spend. xoxo

Thank you so much, and please feel free to steal away! 😉 I need to go into more detail on this in a budgeting video, but I use gift certificates to budget online categories or places I would normally have to use a card. So, for instance, each month I buy myself an Amazon gift card for the amount of my budget for Amazon for the month. I also load my Starbucks card with a certain amount for the month, etc. There are still the occasional random online purchases that come up of course, but this works well for my main categories! 😘

Buy a meal plan! Seriously, they are $10 for a year. I use the Real Simple one (starting my 4th year). it’s 5 weeknight meals plus the grocery list and the recipes are delish. Lots of left overs for lunch and weekend, too. Don’t stress it if it’s not your thing. Great vid!

The chunky planner thing is related to a style called junk journalling. Check it out if you're not familiar with the term. Btw-- I wonder if there are any other guys here? Not even gay (which would be fine). I'm just into making my stuff pretty *shrug*. You should see my partner's though. We both think the other person is the Master Planner.

PS my major ones are actually pink too even though I'm not into pink-- because when I made them black or dark blue, they were constantly getting lost! I don't own ANYTHING else pink (too much color in my room makes it feel messy to me so it's pretty homogenous darker cool colors) so I figured if I make my planner, cell phone, and keyring pink, I'll see it instantly even if it has a pile of dirty laundry covering it. And it works! I got my 2021 planner already though and I prioritized a smaller size this year over the pink color (I have REALLY specific requirements for how I like the page layouts, so the brands I usually get my larger pink ones from alter their smaller analogues in a way that I don't care for)... I'm going to have to do something because the cover is just black and it'll get lost in my car in about 5 minutes. Maybe a fabric color? Some kind of paint I can use on faux leather? No idea yet, but I have awhile to figure it out.
