So I guess in Hong Kong its customary to land down-wind, with no flaps, at 50% throttle, and on a runway that surrounded by trees and hills. This is what happens when your bank account far exceeds your skill set.

The intent is to build a new plane for each flight and break it once used. Then rebuild it again.

Why not install crash barrier across the runway at the halfway point. Then you could just crash on takeoff and avoid the waiting time.

In all seriousness, EDF time is paramount. Get consistent landings with different airframes and you’ll grease those turbine landings just about every time.

Salut. C'est pas la piste qui et pas assez grande il peuvent même faire atterrir de plus gros avions que sa juste il n'ont pas de maîtrise à l'atterrissage. Moi je pratique cette passion et parfoit je sais se que je dit. J'ai plusieurs VGM et maintenant des Jets donc quand je vois sa. Sa fait pas trop rigolé c'est totalement bête de leur part.

Argh...yet another video of RC pilots that are just terrible at landing! Guys... for the newbies and intermediate RC pilots out there....practice your bloody landings! Jets have a very different landing profile than say a trainer like a cub. Jets should be nose up on approach using the throttle to control decent rates. Whether it's an F16...which has a high AoA (angle of attack...7-12 degrees) or a commercial airliners...flat to a few degrees nose up... you are using your throttle to keep approach speed low as possible, maybe 5 knots above stall and using the throttle not for speed....but decent rate. If you're too high, drop your throttle. Too low...a bit more throttle. With say an F16, you may even need to goose a little throttle just before touchdown. The short wingspan means hardly and ground effect. The cushion of air created from wing tip vortices hitting the ground and coming back up to the wing. Practice your approaches and landings in all conditions. Head wind, crosswinds...even slight tailwind because you never know when you may have to just get her back on the ground...like some of these guys with massive control issues and huge planes that can kill someone! When I got my Eflite F16 70mm, I worked in nothing but landings for the first like 15 flights. Takeoff, circuit, approach and land. Repeat. Headwind, crosswind and even a few knots of tail. The average commercial pilot spends only 6% of their career on landings. But, they routinely get in the sim and work on all kinds of landing conditions. 3D flying is fun. But, if you keep destroying your plane because you can't land...its just counter productive. And... don't wait until you're out of battery to land. Always give yourself enough time for at least one go around. There's no shame in going around!

Funny, but I feel sorry for the modelers that had to build the more complicated ones. I see allot of them are the less complicated Almost Ready to Fly, turbine installed EPF all foam construction, which helps. I wonder if the kit manufacturer and DJI supplied the kits for this for this (promotional?) video.

13:56 with speed ,you can make some altitude, turn around and bring that bird down 99% better as that what this pilot does... The rest of your pilot should learn to land jets...

I have never seen a group of guys that can’t fly like these folks! I mean the one thing they have down pat is consistency! Not a single one of these guys can land a plane. Oh and I have also never seen a group of guys that can’t fly put as much money into planes that they want to crash so bad! Far more money than common sense. Guys at least learn what the concept of a CG is please.

Is nobody going to mention how close the Mig came to the ground at 0:29? He had to be watching the wrong plane for a second or two. Seems the only explanation for the maneuver since the plane was obviously flying just fine.

I thought the Mig was a goner. Maybe he got disoriented passing overhead while rolling. This entire clip is some of the worst flying I've ever seen. I need to show this at our RC club meeting just for the laugh factor. They are really constrained on room, not nearly enough for safe jet operations.

1, That runway is still too short for green hands , 2, get foam edf jets and practice before playing real jets, 3, almost everyone of those crash came with really strong tendency of stall, they are landing too slow
