This was a fun list! My cousin just picked Eleanor for her second daughter, and nicknamed her Leni which I think is so cute. I'd just like to profile my name, Marta. It is extremely uncommon in the U.S., but somewhat popular internationally, especially in Spanish speaking countries, and Italy. I'm 28 and was always the only Marta in my entire school, and have only met three others. There's quite a few famous Martas actually, for example Marta Kauffman who is the the co-creator of Friends. It peaked in 1950 at #384, but now is well outside the top 1,000. It's easy to spell and pronounce, though I usually have to spell it when I introduce myself because it is easily misheard as Martha or Marcia. My maternal grandma helped name me, and we think she got it from The Sound of Music, which I know you love SJ! Since unusual vintage names like Mabel, Maeve, etc. are on the rise I thought I'd throw it out there. Also completely unrelated, my favorite baby names. I am not having children, but since my sister started talking about potential baby names, I could not be stopped haha! My favorite for boys is Roland. It was at #544 in the US in 2018 and it seems like it's on the rise. I picked Thomas as a middle name as it's a special name for me, plus I think Roland Thomas sounds nice. I LOVE this name, and how cute would the nickname Roo be? For girls I chose Annika, which in 2018 was at #723 and maybe declining. I don't know what I'd do for a middle name, but it would go well with pretty much anything. Just for fun, and because my sister already told me she isn't using them, I wanted to put them into the universe for someone else to come across and maybe help in their baby name search!

My uncle's name is Philip, he goes by Phil. You could do Filomena/Philomena. Or you could go use the nickname of Philippa, Pippa, as the full name. Or go more abstract with Poppy and Piper to get the p sound at the end of Philip. Or to use the ph sound, Phoebe. Or the ph sound with i's, Felicity. That's all I've got. Good luck!

Eleanor: love El names, but this is probably one of my least favorites, but I'd still use it in a heartbeat Eloise: I absolutely love this name. My partner doesn't feel quite the same way, but if she relents just a little I absolutely will have a baby with Eloise somewhere Ophelia: love this name! I met a girl called ophelia when I was 11 and have been in love with it since Charlotte: beautiful timeless name, but it's too popular for me. I hate the name Lottie Ava: I think I'd spell it with the E spelling but it's so usable in almost any language Silas: one of my absolute favorite names since forever. Partner doesn't feel quite the same way, but I'm not backing down Levi: very popular in America in the 90s so I went to school with several Levis so I'd never, but I love seeing it on little babies Oliver: I'm boooored! It's very classic but it's been popular for my entire life. I'm just so sick of it Milo: very cute. I prefer it to Miles and Arlo Asher: love it! It's so usable and wearable and ages so well with baby. But my best friend's name is Ashley and my partner and I don't want to name our babies after anyone.

The name Eleanor was never my favorite until I watched a TV show with a British character with that name and they pronounced it “Elena” and I fell in LOVE. It’s been on my future kid middle name list since but spelled Elena (which will still get confused with Ee-lane-uh) but makes more sense than spelling it Eleanor in the US. Ophelia is also very high up on the middle name list.

I have been trying to have another baby for over 2 years now and I let my 11 year old daughter pick the name and she said Charlotte, which I love! Of course she would be called Lottie. I think it's popular in the US but not as much as the UK. She doesn't know any Charlotte's at school, they are about 12 Maddy's, A few Sages, classic names like Elizabeth, Katherine (Katy), a few Regans. I immediately fell in love with the name Charlotte, of course because of Charlotte's Web and Princess Charlotte. It's just so beautiful and regal but Lottie makes it sweet and friendly. It seems like a magical name and I love it.

The names Ophelia and Asher are both characters from the popular US drama "How to get away with murder" from the same creator as Greys Anatomy. That series started in 2014, maybe it is related to the rise in popularity of those 2 names! Xx

It would be so lovely (and helpful) to have a list of meaningful names for Rainbow Babies. It's a tough one.

I love the name Ophelia from Hamlet by Shakespeare which we are reading in 11th grade currently. An alternative name for Ava is Avery or Eva. I love the name Levi and Asher too both which I would actualy potentially use. Oliver is a very cute name but over used in my opinion.

My grandma had never heard the name Hannah before I was named that, but I grew up with a billion people named Hannah my age! It's crazy how quick names can get popular!

I still find Hannah feels fresh somehow even though I’ve known a few. It’s a classic so it doesn’t get old 👌😊

You should do a video with names that work in many languages. I’m bilingual French-English so that limits names I could use.
