Hello! Is it possible to add this filter in a header symbol, so that every time I want to search for an item, it redirects me to the filter page? Of course when I do this the whole page is refreshed so I lose the input value, any suggestions? I thought about saving this value, and after instantiating the library add it to the "value" attribute, but it doesn't seem to work. My question is, is this the value used to filter the items in the list? I would greatly appreciate your prompt reply.
@Finsweet4 жыл бұрын
Hey, Stephanie! Apologies for the late reply, we were on a Christmas break! We can load pre-selected filters on a new page with cmsdocs.webflow.io/add-ons. But it would not work with search filter text input.

Amazing, thanks so much. I'm using Load More, as well, so it's only searching/filtering the visible items. I have the same issue with Sort. Anyway to get around this? (basically, I'd like to search / sort and use load more all on the same collection list). Thank you!!

Hey! Thanks so much for that! We super appreciate it!!! It will work with multiple collections. Use the combine component - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJPUh3eCg9lsrLc

@@Finsweet Awesome work. I'm trying to apply this to several lists at the same time too, but without using the combine component, as I don't want the lists to be combined. Is this possible? When I try, it is as if it filters some lists but not others, and it feels a bit random which works and which doesn't. Here's a 17 seconds video of the use case: www.screencast.com/t/iFIlPGfMtT0 Update: I figured it out. The script seems to not be able to filter lists which hold only 1 item. This make sense in general, but would be great in my (quite specific) use case. I'll just add 2 entries a time to make this work. :-) And thanks a ton for creating all these grab and drop features!

Hey great content! May I ask, will the search function work if these 100 projects were displayed in Slider, Tabs, or Pagination form instead? Say it displays 20 projects per slide/tab/page, and I search 'Project 90', will Project 90 appear even though I'm on slide 1 (which currently only displays Projects 1-20)? Thanks a lot!

Hey Joe ~ If I have a Collection List of 200 members, and there are four types of members, ~ my member page shows these 4 collections, each displaying ONE type of member, (so 4 unique collection lists) I want to search by name, will this setup work for only ONE collection list at a time, or, can it filter through ALL lists at once, and display the result?

Thank you for your amazing job! Great tweaks for webflow. I have a question for you. I want to have a search form that shows a fixed short amount of cms entries (the ones with best correspondency to the search input) and a button that connects to a new page that shows all the search results (like the search page). Is this possible? I already tried to use the search input field instead of a text input on your script, but it doesn't work. Is it possible to hide a page-search input, show the search button and make the search input match the text input? Thank you in advance!

This works perfectly! GRATITUDE!!! Quick question: Is there a way to set an initial filter that hides all items on page load? Visibly, I want my search filter to reveal collection items rather than "filter" out collection items.
