That hood is designed specifically for heat extraction...if you remove the plate on the interior of the hood. With the size of the supercharger, and the amount of heat it will make, this was the intended purpose of that hood vent. Not for front downforce as he says. Go see what the Ford designer says about its purpose if you need more proof.

ok the vents on the hood are to stop air damning it does help to keep the car from lifting but it was more for cooling not aerodynamics. The second caliper in the back of the car is for the parking brake. there was a third thing you said and I'm forgetting it but I'll post it later.

As much as I love Shelby... if given the opportunity, I'd buy a ZR1. Si.ply because I love Mustangs and vettes, but the ZR1 is still offered in a manual. Couldn't care less that the automatic is faster. Manual is a must.

The interior of the rim for cooling is interesting... I know in F1 they actually use the rim as a heat sink in order to transfer heat from the hot brakes to the tires. This helps keep the tires from getting too cold before corners. Maybe the low profile tires are so close to the brakes that they do no need this, or Ford is more concerned with the life-span of the rim itself?

very nice car, but i was a bit surprised when you popped the hood. There is no shelby / snake logo on top of the supercharger, although early pictures from the GT500 showed there was going to be one. And yes, looks like the rear wing is easy to steal, on the other hand, you don't let a car like this on the curb during the night

The reason there’s no cobra logo, is because it’s a preproduction model. They weren’t supposed to let me pop the hood because it wasn’t complete. 🤷🏻‍♂️
