Hey bud I am coming out and joining the Ebike class for the next race in Eureka. I've never ridden any mountain bike races before. Do you get to pre-ride any of these trails or is the whole point that you race them blind?

That’s awesome man! Typically the two days before the race, the venue is open for pre ride. All the stages may or may not be marked by then. As I understand it, the mtb race is Sunday, so you have fri, sat to go scope it all out. The terrain there is a lot of fun. Day of you’ll check in and get your timing chip and number plate, then they’ll have a rider’s meeting, then you all get sent off. Take it easy on the transitions leading to the stages, rip the stage, recover and repeat. Make sure you have things like extra sealant, co2, tire plugs, snacks and plenty of hydration. Don’t bring plain water, you need electrolytes and energy. Let me know if you have any questions.
