Thanks for this video. I bought one a couple weeks ago, and it does crackle and pop. I left the baffle in, and I still click up a gear and try to ride easy when I get into my subdivision late at night. I love it so far.

The popping is usually from the exhaust air injection for emissions. Usually a hose from the airbox to the the exhaust ports. Quick fix is to put something in that air hose to block the air. More involved would be to eliminate the plumbing and have block off plates. A proper ECU flash will eliminate the air injection function.

I've just bought the stainless LV One EVO version for my 2020 Street Triple RS. Can I just confirm you are running this without a baffle with the stock headers and no modifications to the tune? eg. you didn't use something like TuneECU... it's just bone stock with the slip-on installed and the baffle removed?

So how's Your bike behaving? I'm thinking between LV Carbon & Scorpion, but since all exhausts are expensive in my country & who knows what things Euro5shit can cause to my motorcycle I still haven't decided what to do.

@@triumph765rlow2 It’s fine and sounds better but I have no objective proof because I haven’t put it on a Dyno. I suspect it’s a little lean but it’s. It really affecting anything. It idles fine and still goes well.

Was there any need for a new map? Or did you just put it on and run with it? I like the sc project but I am scared it will be so insanely loud. I leave at 4am and I don't want to be murdered by my neighbors but I do like it loud. Also, I'm a vlogger and want to be hear over it as well.

Sounds like yours does the same as mine... 2020 STRS with same exhaust. When I start the bike when it’s warm, the revs rise to about 3000rpm for a couple of seconds then slowly falls down to normal idle speed. This is higher than a cold start and is honestly quite embarrassing at petrol stations! Does yours still do it?

Is the popping like little backfiring? If the Speed Triple 765 has an exhaust gas recirculation (a.k.a...EGR) setup, then the popping is likely cause from that -- which is usually muffled out with stock exhaust systems. I had to get a plug kit years ago on very old Yamaha FZR1000 to get rid of the whole EGR system and that noise. I wasn't personal partial to it although, yours doesn't sound that bad at all. Mine was completely obnoxious and it just had to be fixed.

Did you have any difficulty removing the baffle? I'm finding the hex bolt holding the baffle in really stiff, to the point I've stopped trying to unscrew it as it feels like I'm either going to round the inside thread of the bolt or snap it off. Currently it's soaking in WD40, hoping that helps..

My Speed triple “popped” when I went with Arrow exhaust and needed the tune. Running lean can cause it.

My MT 10 went from 153 Mph max , bone stock, to 159 mph at redline in 6th gear with full Akra and ECU flash. Would likely have more top end with sprocket change. I run all my street bikes with baffles in the aftermarket exhausts. Akra is 1st choice.
