2020 Subaru Outback Touring Review: Cargo Measurements, Technology, Test Drive

I'm a new subscriber! I discovered your YT channel while searching reviews of the 2020 Subaru Outback XT Touring. I then discovered all of your deep, detailed reviews of various aspects of the new infotainment system as well as the adaptive cruise control with lane centering, etc., which I thought was quite helpful and informative. I just like your review approach and style. I've owned 5 Subaru Outback, 100k miles on each without turning a wrench. When shopping for my sixth Outback in 2014, I was shocked to learn that only CVTs were now available. I drove one and sadly, said goodbye to Subaru. Fast forward to 2019 after test-driving the latest CVT, I'm ready to rejoin the Subaru family. Thanks for helping with the search and continued success with your YT channel!

Nice review! I'm waiting for my 2020 Outback Touring (ordered) to come in to the dealership. Got the Crystal White Pearl, looks so nice with the Java interior - very classy. Anyway, I was looking for some reviews and systems info on KZbin and found you. I'm really interested in all the functions in that huge screen and hoping there won't be a lot of glare. Right now I'm going to check out some of your other videos, maybe you addressed that already. Keep up the great work - refreshing to have a real world review that doesn't say only the turbo is the way to go. As a conservative driver, smashing the gas pedal is NOT something I do! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you love your new Outback Touring when it arrives! I haven'e noticed too much glare on the cars I've driven with the 11.6" touchscreen so you should be ok. Don't listen to car magazines, you don't NEED the XT, they just all have lead feet. Let me know if you ever have any questions about your car when you get it and I'll do my best to help.

I just got my new Outback Limited xt home in it's stable. we ordered it last month. I did some serious research and test drove a dozen cars but the Outback ticked all my boxes! Safety, Reliability, driving experience, space, everything one could wish for. And a mindblowing sound system. I am still gobsmacked with all the tech in this car. And living in a city where half the people drive like idiots I do want that extra oomph just in case. The climate controls being on the screen don't bother me that much, if I really don't want to use the touchscreen I use voice command and the car does it for me.

What are the engine specs for touring? is it 180 hp or 260 hp?

Touring comes with the 182 horsepower 2.5 liter non-tubo which is what I reviewed here. If you get Touring XT you get 260 horsepower from the 2.4 liter turbo. Other than the motor the cars have all the same equipment and look identical from the outside. Thanks for watching!
