Turbo is the way to go if you do mountain driving in a Subaru. We took my wife's Crosstrek to California, and going through the mountains in Utah the engine (2.0, normally aspirated) was just screaming to maintain speed up the grades.

Just watched. It's not bad but you may want to aim the gopro lower or use a different harness method. Also shooting in linear vs normal may help as well as there was a huge fish eye effects when you where driving. Or go cheaper and just ride lower in your seat.

when a cvt works its great! It's when it fails that it just becomes a lump of trash. cvt's were not made for torque it is beter suted for a scooter. My friend just had to junk a Nissan lost 3 grand because the replacement transmission was 8K. So I will never own one, I have never been the lucky one. Yours may last a million miles? Subaru knows this and has an extended warrenty on the transmission. If you lease for a few years great. If like me with a Pontic Vibe with 250k miles on it then NO. The vibe I just put another clutch in it a keep going.

I test drove one of these several months back when they first came out. I own a 2015 outback.....The interior LOOKS nice, but trust me, they're still using very similar cheap materials on the inside.
