But the price is the problem now they didn’t amend the xz variant , they introduced new xz+ , which means now it is costlier by 1-1.5 lac from the Hector and 2-3 lacs from the seltos

Hi , everyone as we know In KZbin comment box most viewers support harrier and tatamotors.but sales figures proves that it was just fake love only. As per sales figures feb2019 to Dec 2019 only 14805 units harriers was sold. Kia seltos just one segment down to harrier Jan 2020 ( 1 month only)sales figures is more than 15500 units. Price difference between top models is just 2.5 lakhs Tata must change their strategy and harrier must attract kia, Hyundai,MG customers to this segment by giving attractive price and features. We know Tata always hear customers feedback seriously. Now Tata will face seriously competition from new Creta,Mg, Haval,citroen,new Jeep compass,xuv 500. If Tata is considering few more upgrade then harrier will be non beatable in below 20 lakhs segment. 1. Rear disc brakes 2. 10 inch infortaintment system with 360 degree camera. 3. Optional 4x4 system. 4.paddel shifters. 5. Internet connectivity. 6. Standard black colour option. 7.electric operated boot. 8.19 inch alloys. 9. GNCAP rating 10. Automatic petrol engine. 11. 5 year unlimited warranty ( even newbie Chinese company MG is giving 5 year road assistance and warranty) 12. Must improve Tata sales and service experience ( that is the real fear factor among customers, it was always hit or miss) if Tata do consider little more upgradation in Harrier then it Will be an real kickass SUV in this segment.hope TATAMO is listening ❤️❤️.

I don't think harrier will compete with new creta in case of features...And also these updations like electric boot etc can be done only in the nee face lift 2021... I think tata is not listening to their customer feed back....they can add plenty of key features:( those you mentioned abve) at this price around 18L... Harrier won't survive....😪

When hector was launched it got very good response from customers despite of new company and also a Chinese brand. This car looks very premium, very city car unlike SUVs, seating position is very good, not very high so passengers do not have to climb up, very feature rich. Seltos is a very good looking feature rich compact and very practical car for city drive. Seltos got excellent response from customer from its debut which denotes Indian people prefer compact SUVs or compact pseudo SUVs. These basic points have made these newcomers successful where being a very old brand Tata still falling short. Harrier in spite of having high safety rating with some good features is not doing well. May be initially they did not understand at a specific price what customers want like a sunroof power adjust seat etc which a foreign company easily understood. Does it mean Harrier lacks practicality?

Connected car features, ventilated seats will ruin the SUV ness of harrier ( though harrier is not a true SUV like safari but its still the true 5 seater SUV than the so called seltos hector compass SUV ) . also I feel panoramic sunroof has also ruined the class of harrier . this has been the problem with tata - safari , hexa & harrier great SUV,s but not decent sales figures . Also tata is improving their services so people must buy tata also

After increasing the Power to 170 Horses, still TATA need to add few things on HARRIER:- 1. Rear disc brakes. 2. Ventilated seats. 3. Ambient lighting. 4. Paddle shifters. 5. 360 degree parking camera. 6. TPMS and wireless charging. 7. All LED exterior lighting. 8. Lag free infortainment system. 9. Connected car features. 10. Roof Rails like GRAVITA. These are some essential equipment list TATA should need to add in the Harrier. I believe most of the features are available in TATA GRAVITA.

The car certainly has an appeal and dominating feel. The review and the specs suggest that the design and a powerful engine have been put together really well to enhance the drive and comfort. What I don't understand that how and why Tata has missed on some essential safety features like rear disc brakes and some convenience features like dynamic rear view mirror and powered tailgate?

TATA has to train dealers, they don't bother to follow up and lack of professional aspect. Most of buyers are confuse at the point of actual buy and other dealers win the game due to their way of approach. EVERY INDIAN LIKE TATA AND WANT TO OWN.

Great to see the improvements in the Harrier. The Harreir is the classiest SUV in that price range. It feels well put together and tough even before when it lacked many features the completion was offering. Now that the Harrier comes with more goodies, makes it even more desirable.The pano sunroof looks stunning and adds a lots of airiness to the cabin! Auto-dimming rear tire mirrors are a boon esp where a lot of drivers in India use high beam relentlessly during night driving. Well done Tata... and really very well done Tata for being responsive to customer and motor journalist feedback, It is great to see Indian manufacturers up their game! We look forward to more features such are adaptive LED headlamps and remote climate control in the Harrier!

0-100 in just 10.15 sec faster compared to its rival mg hector automatic petrol which takes 10.78 sec to achieve 100 kmph and jeep compass which takes almost 12 sec to reach 100 and this beast weight around 1780 kg kerb
