Can the 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 GT be tuned? YES! The 2020 Rocket3 GT is a powerhouse out of the box, but with a tune, it's a monster! It's a bit of a trick to tune it compared to other motorcycles, but we got it done! As always, we show the base line, factory hp and torque of the rocket 3 and then compare it to our custom tune once we're finished. The stock hp of the rocket 3 is 165bhp. "BHP". what is BHP? That's brake horse power. Which means the power to the crank, not the wheel. That equates to about 140hp to the wheel since the drive line does steal some engine power. OUR base line factory hp for the rocket 3 came in at 135hp. So it's important to gauge your power by WHEEL horse power. Also keep in mind, the Triumph Rocket 3 has MAJOR restrictions from the factory. The throttle is super restricted. With a custom dyno tune on a motorcycle, we're able to adjust all of that. Including the speed limiter. Anyways, at the end of your custom tune, we were able to get this thing up to almost 169hp and 149 max torque. This is a huge difference that this customer will love!

The new storm is doing 182 and thats just via software update .Here in the uk 180 is the common gain to expect same as the new storm version .

I tuned my Rocket at Texas Superbikes in Dfw and got similar gains. The bike was fast but now is scathem People in Florida should get your Rocket 3s tuned there. You wont be disappointed.

Yeah this was a fun tune indeed! I couldn't imagine driving it around with how much torque they pick up honestly. Glad you are enjoying yours and thank you for the shout out 🙌

Now once you add 30% of gear box and shaft drive losses you . This engine is making over 215hp at the crank!

@@provenpowercycles yes it is. I have the 2022 GT 3. I may get another one to keep my 2022 happy. Best buddies. Don't be fooled by haters. I'm 67 and owned many bikes including a 502 Boss Hoss and The Rocket is like a Rolex compared to a Timex (Boss Hoss). I think the three bikes to own are the V-Max, Busa, and Rocket (I own). Also, throw in a Goldwing too for Colorado rides. Make it 4 wheels if gummies are involved. I love motorbikes, fast cars, and have owned plenty. God has blessed me. Great vid.

149 ft/lbs is 202 N/m, triumph claim 221 N/m stock, so with losses its no better than 'claimed' stock.

Proved many times same bikes on multiply dynos Where normal europe standart dyno show to engine your fake usa dynojet dynos show exact same to the wheel Do your expreriment test one bike on dynojet and on other dyno maker euro brand and u will see.
