What’s safer? Getting something like a Bren Tuning flash on a handheld or getting a custom tune on a dyno? I don’t care about max power, I just want the flat spot gone, and reliability
@provenpowercyclesКүн бұрын
@ChokolateSushi23 custom dyno tune all day. A mail in flash will help for sure and Bren does have their mapping down pretty good. But with a custom tune you can see all the imperfections that need to be tweaked vs the flash is just that. A 1 size fits all type of map 👍

How about the quick shift and auto blip issue after the tune in the Zx10r gen 6?
@provenpowercycles2 күн бұрын
@dinzeljohngarcia6142 so we have it 90% figured out. There is still a lag around 9,500-11,000 rpm, but everything else is solid. We have a couple more zx10rs lined up so I can keep messing with it, but overall, we're making good progress on it all 🤙

Have seen a few 40th Anniversary paint jobs in person now, none on a 14R yet though. On such a big bike I really love the stealthyness of my '23 models paint job.
@provenpowercycles2 күн бұрын
@QuicKurtZX14R it's not bad at all, actually. Small changes to it, and it would really pop, but all in all, we're fans of it!

You are wrong. Dual CT is a killer, quiet core, with silencer, by the way. I have no idea, how anyone can use it without any noise reduction.

Taking a holistic approach to engine tuning. Excellent stuff. You should come up with a catchy line for the business denoting such dedication and care. Something like.... ¨Proven Power Cycles : More than just a tune¨ or ¨Holistic Engine Tuning¨ or something similar. It´s one thing to provide such service just don´t forget to let people know about it to get them to come in.

Fantastic job finding any problems, resolving and then putting mind blowing numbers to the ground. The Customer should be ecstatic about the bike now. Do you do many Yamaha R1s? If so, Do you do mail in flash?
