Semi truck dealers have realized they can make as much as money not fixing trucks. They are almost all rogues. I drive 2022 Kenworth paccar t680. At least one of the injectors is bad. It starts difficult, rpm needle dance, power loss and between 1200 to 1500 rpm it makes ka ka ka sound as if you started your engine at negative 20F. It happens especially in lower speeds and often goen on and off in higher speeds like 60-70 mph. Dealers keep saying there's no problem with it and that it is normal go figure. It has 140000 miles now but this problem appeared at 15000 or so.

Finer filtration is the key to lifespan with common rail injection... Factory filters suck. Upgrade to 2um, 7um or 10um Davco prefilter and watch your injection system probs disappear

Trick to injector Life is Fine FILTERING you NEED finely filtered fuel.. a Davco, AirDog, FASS , etc with nothing larger than 10um secondary filters, preferably leas... I normally use 2um and change filters more often... You'll get 500K+ reliably. DO NOT use the 25um or 50um filters. Ultra Clean fuel in common rail is absolutely the key to LIFESPAN.. ✅✅

Longer filter life so should work out to be cheaper in the long run. Changing filters on the road is going to be more challenging but not impossible

Not yet. Dropping the truck off today for the injector repair. After I get it back is when the testing begins. So far seems to help but with the truck not 100% can’t give it a fair evaluation

I've had good luck with them for many years. They 4G and 5G systems are the best, far more durable than the old systems
