Indeed, some tests have shown 5 seconds to 60 miles. I think when CarAndDriver and Motortrend test it they will score 5 seconds or lower.

Love that steering wheel!. But, it looks like, according to Car & Driver, this is slower to 60 and the quarter mile against a base 40i BMW X5/X6. Not sure why AMG put their badge on this boat.

your very informative just talk a little slower.......there is a difference between a AMG and and AMG package that GLE 53 is a true AMG so the engine is hand built.... the give away is the Panamericana Grill

You’re actually wrong. The 53 variants are not true AMG and are not hand built. The hand built engines would be the 4.0 amg63 engine and the 2.0 that’s in the A45 amg.

GLE53 is a replacement for previous Generation which was Gle43 and before that Gle450. True AMG will be released later this year and will hold the same title of GLE63
