For 6 months I am thinking about what car I should buy because next year (2025) I will finally have the budget I aimed for (without loan) and I really wanted to take my time making the decision what car I should buy.. I grew up with and got to love Mercedes but I always liked AUDIs as well and I promised to myself that I won't make a biased decision so besides Mercedes I looked at cars from Mercedes, VW, BMW etc.. Last but not least I decided to also look at cars from AUDI. The A5 appealed to me the most and this video is kinda like a confirmation for me.. Researching this model (but the TFSI version) made me feel excited and I wanted to know how it would be on the road. That is when I opened KZbin and found this.. Long story short: I completely fell in love.. The car I have now is a Ford Fiesta (2009) with 69 HP which I received as a gift from my father back then when I was studying so I am really excited to get myself a car with my own money for the first time.. Can anyone give me pros and cons about this car and if there is another model I should compare this to?

The only downside i know is that the car is electronicly limited to 210 kph, because it has fuel saving tyres. It costs extra to have special tyres and the limiter removed. Hope it helped :)

@generaloverlord2988 Thanks a lot. In the meantime I also came to the same conclusion. But I have to admit that was a deal breaker for me. Not because I want to go faster than 210 all the time but knowing that I would be limited was something I couldnt accept. I still have a few months to think about it before buying a new car but currently I think I will buy myself a Mercedes CLA 220d 4matic. The price and the performance are roughly the same in my opinion, the car is also very nice and I am not limited in speed. Whoever thought a limiter like that wouldnt cause an issue hopefully regretted his/her decision. Because without it I would probably still want to buy an Audi A5 Coupe.

@@1lk3r the cla 220d is a great decision. Yeah the limiter would be a no go for me too, knowing an a3 1.5l tfsi would be faster than an A5. I personally do not have the highest Budget, so my next car will be an A3 35 tdi that has about 20k km down. :)

this model A5 sportback has very low drag, that swooping roofline helps.. This has the same drag cd as an Audi A2.. Makes it economical on long trips and good high speed driving.. Much more aerodynamic than golf

Must be nice to have a highway where everyone keeps right except for passing and there's no speed limit, as in, how a highway was built and should be used! You can't get this in the United States with our poor infrastructure and absolutely abysmal drivers with our short tempers and improper driving etiquette. The Autobahn is the safest highway as a result of stricter lane discipline, a required first-aid course, and just using common sense. Also, all the highways are not crumbling and in terrible shape like they are in the States. Everyone is smooth as butter and what looks like to be resurfaced every year or couple of years. Must be nice. Germany, you have it good, I hope you know that. I'm jealous!

How can the speed be 265km/h with 204HP ? I have with my Audi A5 TDI4.0 - year 2020, 228HP and a maximum speed of 250km/h. Maybe you did some Chip-Tuning ??

Every audi on paper says 250 kmh, but in speedometer always 265 kmh. Even stock and not tuned.

Das kann kein A5 40TDI sein. Eingetragene Vmax ist 210-247km/h. Der hier schafft über 260km/h. Also entweder ist das der A5 50TDI mit 286 PS oder ein getunter 40TDI.

Audi VW zeigt der Tacho meistens fast 20 kmh Zuviel an. Einfach um Fahrer vorzugaukeln sein Audi ist extrem schnell. Habe es selber auf dem VW Testgelände erlebt. Bsp VW Golf 8 GTD Tacho 252/253 gps 235/236 laut Messgerät von VW. Also im besten Fall fährt er GPS 240, was nicht langsam ist für ein 204 ps Diesel !

@@rodanakgul8984 Das ist die Serienbereifung mit der, der 40 TDI/TFSI und auch 45 TFSI ausgeliefert werden. Ich meine, dass es das erst seit dem Facelift gibt. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die Reifen besser abrollen und so den Verbrauch drücken.

@@rodanakgul8984 seit ca. 1 Jahr werden A4 und A5 mit Rollwiderstandsoptimierten Reifen auf den kleinen Felgen ausgeliefert. Man kann im Konfigurator aber diese abwählen (ist sogar kostenlos). Dann wird die Begrenzung aufgehoben. Die Reifen sollen den Stromverbrauch senken und die Umwelt schonen...totaler Quatsch und wenn man die Abwahl vergisst hat man Pech

@@derfranzose646 nein ist schon serie. schau mal bei unsere kanal wir testen sehr viele verschiedene autos. A5 ist sehr aerodynamisch, sowie audi a3 limousine ist auch sehr aerodynamisch, das führt sehr wenig verbrauch und hohe topspeed. Wenn es Kombi wäre mit 204 PS dann wäre knapp 250 kmh möglich, wenn es SUV ist, dann ca 230 kmh nach meine erfahrung. Es war auch ein bisschen bergab im video wo audi a5 über 260 erreicht hat. Zur info 250 kmh auf tacho ist aber nicht GPS 250. GPS ca 240. Sogar audi a3 limousine mit 150 PS haben wir knapp 250 kmh geschafft. Soweit ich weiss bei neue einige A4 und A5 wurde leider auf 210 kmh begrenzt (Tacho ca 213 kmh)
