I drove a S5 convertible recently and the turbo lag from a stop was unreal.

It's not the actual "turbo lag", but rather a mix of the small turbo lag and the way Audi tunes the off the line acceleration for smoothness.

I feel like the ride in the m340i is better more comfortable and more fun to play with especially with the m adaptive suspension

You need to build boost on boosted cars, you aren’t getting great numbers out of the 0-60 tests. 5.5 seconds for a S5 is slow regardless of cabriolet or not.

That's called a real life test. My other S5 videos have launch control acceleration, and on average it's 4.5-5s with launch based on weather. I don't usually care about building boost because 98% of the drivers don't do that on public roads. You press the pedal and go.

Do a 2018 Rs3 and try the acceleration test with esc off no launch just mash the throttle it will be under 4secs 0-60 easily I tested on mine .

Tried that in an RS3 and got 5.0s-5.2s without launch control. Got a 4.2s with launch.
