Hello Mark! It's odd that here in the UK, we seem to get cases before you do, in the home of Mattel. I picked up three of those custom Nash (the name of the real car being the rather rude 'Nashole') well before Christmas - and I wasn't being greedy - one for me, one for my brother, and one for his friend who has collected Hot Wheels for years, but who hadn't even heard of the model. I read about it in 'Model Collector' magazine (now very sadly defunct 😞) over a year ago, and have been waiting to see what it was like. Not disappointed, no, sir. I do like that 'High Roller' - it's based on a custom Rolls Royce, and it has a Rolls Royce Merlin aero engine visible inside, which is cool.

I like the Nash too. As for the name of the custom auto, I wasn't expecting it to make it to the toy version but then again, Mattel did use HWTF for a couple years...

@@racegrooves - My next door neighbour's daughter had one in the late 1980's. An unusual little car, built in England, by Austin, for Nash, for the US market. I believe that the small number sold in the UK, in the 1950's and early 60's, were designated 'Austin A50 Metropolitan'. My neighbour's daughter's was red and white. It's a really, really rare car now. I read somewhere, that out of several thousand built, less than 100 remain.

Oh, I didn't know the 1994 Dodge van was "born" in Canada (albeit in Windsor, Ontario just across the river from Detroit). Perhaps Mattel could put it in a Canada Day deco in their holiday series at some point in the future. I know it wasn't a tour but they did a Legends event a few months ago for the Legends Garage nominees that I watched live on Facebook. I think the winner was a really custom Camaro if I remember correctly. I was hoping for the Shelby GT350 Mustang just to get it in premium since I don't have a straight 1960s Shelby Mustang from Hot Wheels in premium form.

@@racegrooves Canadian Tire got a once-off store exclusive Hot Wheels Chevy truck in 2007. There's also the Northern Nightmare Monster Jam truck, which is probably the most "Canadian" Hot Wheels I have (since the one I have is from well before the Monster Jam license went to SpinMaster). The RCMP cars from Matchbox also count as Canadian content.

I like your channel. There something about the red 64 corvette stingray. look closely at the front wheel well I notice that one of you'r red 64 corvette stingray has a very slight metal casting error on the front wheel well. would that be categorized as an error?

Thanks! I re-watched the video and I see that the metal didn't fully fill in the cavity (front right wheel-well) when it was being injected molded. Technically, an error.
