I just got compares to my KDX 200 that I wrote for years and years except it has more power in the mid. In the Low end

I hit my pegs sometimes too, looking into the Fastway pegs. Older KTM pegs are higher but you might need to bore out the holes a tad.

Good idea. I may have some old KTM pegs in the shop!

@Michael Sheetz the advantage of the fastways is you can move them up and forward but I'm not sure how much clearance you gain. If I get them I will let you know.

whats it like at high speeds all my 300rr mates say they aren't stable at all?

Honestly, I’ve only ridden it in the woods, but will likely get a chance to ride it at higher speeds later this year when we venture to the desert. That is if she lets me ride it. Lol

Update. The bike is busy at speed, but I believe it’s more related to suspension setup than a chassis flaw. Still, this is a good single track bike. I’d look elsewhere for a desert bike.

My Xtrainer is the perfect bike for me BC I'm a vet rider with a 28" inseam. It's a quality performance trail bike that simply fit shorter riders.

@@1994vmax Lowering link, adjusted rear preload down (a little), raised forks 1" in the tripleclamps. World of difference.

@paulmcauliffe8857 is that a 2in lowering link? If so, I believe you lose some ground clearance... Do you find that to be an issue on technical rocky terrain. Thank you

@@1994vmax 1.5" and the front 1". So yeah, less ground clearance. Rock fields not an issue for me, as I'm a 68yo sissy and avoid the big ones. I dirt ride for fun & moderate exercise. Thank YOU.

Oh yeah, just iPhone audio. I need to order a wireless LAV for good audio quality if I’m gonna be doing any more videos. I’ll try for the future.
