Today is exactly 2 years since my middle son was diagnosed with cancer (brain tumor). He is in remission and doing well but it was a terrifying journey to get where we are now. It is a lifelong battle as he gets physical and occupational therapy. Plus he forever has vision problems that for now, only require bifocals and therapy. I started watching your videos about a week or so ago and have found it very motivating for me. And I love and appreciate your positivity. Thank you for being a bright spot and positive being in this world that can be so cruel at times. God bless you and your family.

I told my Mama about how you clean at night and she said she did the same thing when we were little. She said “Thats the only way you can enjoy it! If you clean during the day it gets messed up before you have time to take it in.” She said she would clean after everyone went to bed and then have a glass of wine and read her book for a little while before she went to bed so she could enjoy the clean and quiet 🥰

Hello Joanna, regarding your washing machines ... just do the maintenance from time to time, wash the drum with a machine cleaner etc, clean the filter and the detergent drawer, use hotter cycles every now and then .. helps too! if the smell persists it may be from your sewer! try to put a temporary sink and the machine to put water for it ... in my old house I had this problem, in the days of greater wind my house smelled more of sewage ... it may be happening to you! and that's how I decided ... I had already seen that you intended to switch from machines to top load ... DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I ... had an LG set. I sold them and bought top load ... it seems that my clothes are not clean ... I hope I helped!

I try to stay on top of all the routine maintenance the best I can, but both machines still seem to be struggling. 🙈 Okay, I do think we will stay away from LG because I’ve have enough people telling me that so that is very helpful! 💗💗

Baking soda and vinegar is really good to wash through. Or if you have a dishwasher pop a dishwasher tablet into the machine turn it on a hot wash and all the mould from inside the drum washes out.

@@JoannaThornton LG is a great brand! the ones I had were from the maytag .. and they always had a bad smell! I bought the LG ones because I had to put one on top of the other and so far I don't have any smells so far (5 years of use) ... but as I told you, it may be from the sewer! PLUS! the lg filter you dont need to take the machine apart! that is awsoooomeee! my point is ... the top load does not have great washing and spin efficiency ... I prefer the front ones without a doubt ...

I would vacuum the hallway next to my sons room and even sometimes his room when he was napping as a baby. I had so many people tell me to make as much noise as possible while he was sleeping so he could learn to not only self soothe but learn that every little sound wasnt cause for alarm. He is 3 now and sleeps like a rock! Lol no clue if the vacuum helped, but I'm thankful for a sound sleeper!
