feels weak the engine?

I just watched a driving pov of bmw e46 2003 318i 2.0 petrol, and that sounds alot alot better then this new one, that sounded strong and powerful even it was the se model but still car drove and handled better, this sounds like.the engine bearing are gone or the engine, these new bmws are just name left other wise they aren't anything what the old bmwers used to be I know its small engine but it shouldn't feel weak and sound broken.

I dont want to hate for no real reason but..the m sport pack is completely useless here for that driving style :D its never going to be a sports car of course but if youre going to slow down into corners so much you can take the money you paid for that "m sport" bumper and suspension and put it towards the engine or anything else for that matter..honestly. Of course I also dont know the laws in your country regarding filming yourself commiting a crime (speeding) so I guess I should shut up..but still this car even with that relatively weak engine should be ripping those corners.

@@kd35trey39 Yeah :D so cringy..m package on a 318i. I have seen worse though...Škoda Rapid (around 2012-2018, couldnt have more than 70kW :D) with M stripes on the grill xD The guy in the video probably ran on winter tires and didnt want to take too much out of them :D still going 50-80 was kinda slow for the car considering the m package, no?

@@MisoElEven also ordered 318i LCi with m package... You do know 318,320 and 330i are All exactly the same engine right? My 318i wil Just run the same spec than the 330i after An engine tune... Only i pay 8k less...

@@thundergun100 Theyre not the same engine..theyre using completely different internal components. You can guess which engines pistons etc. are going to take that "abuse" for a longer period of time. You can easily chip a 318i to a 330i level of performance but its not recommended long term for obvious reasons. Also dont forget the warranty is void as soon as you modify the engine parameters. My point was, that 318i despite its low power can be a relatively fun car..no need to slow down so much into the corner like the guy in the video does.
