My skid plate arrived yesterday. Do you know why I bought yours instead of another brand? Because you provide an easy to follow video/tutorial showing me how to do it with my basic skills and tools. This is a must do. BMW in and of itself is a pretty well engineered car. I’ve owned six of them. I’m not real sure what made them put an intercooler in the wide open with no protection. The M2C suffers from the same issue. I’m sure those owners would be more than receptive to this. There are other brands out, but this one seems much easier to install. #TeamMishi

How tight do the bolts need to be?

No torque spec needed on this. As long as the mounting bolts are hand tight, you shouldn't have any issues.

How does this work with a front lip like M Perf?

We are not showing any known fitment issues issues with this front lip at this time.

No fitment issues with my M Performance splitter 👌🏼 just be wary not to over tighten the original screws as they can strip the plastic grommets.

I bought this skid plate. I wonder if there is any torque specs for the bolts and screws when installing?

No torque spec called out. As long as the bolts are snug, you should not have any issues.

Any chance that this would fit a G20 M340i with the Track Package (Oil Cooler), or do you make an option for said vehicle?

Yes, this fit with both stock and Mishimoto oil coolers.

I am not mechanically inclined but this video makes me think that I can even do it....just do not have a lift or a jack...or jack stands lol. I did get lost with how many bolts there were. It seemed like in the video that guy tightened the same bolt twice.
