I’m a Yamaha fan but always know Honda is capable of making the fastest inline 4 if they choose to. The Honda Indy cars prove that. Honda chooses to stick with reliability and keeping it street worthy. This time they decided to put some serious power in the RRR and they succeeded.

I have said this before and I will say it again. I have a 1989 Yamaha FZR 1000. The fastest I have been on it is a gps verified 153mph. To see you hit that speed in the bottom of 4th gear and still have the rest of 4th all of 5th and 6th gear just blows my mind. I see a Fireblade in my future.

I think the gearing is perfect for honda, any shorter gearing will just cause it to wheelie and when anti-wheelie kicks in, it will lose power and lag behind, just like M1000RR in this video. But I am curious to find out.

@@pravesh736 carbon wheels helps more in transitional handling but i here ya bud. And that gearing on the cbr is far better the way it is for roll racing. Front doesn’t come up and you have a lot more mph up to where the bmw is spinning it’s smaller wheel a lot faster. You’d think a shorter gearing would help but not really. Not trying to sound like a know it all but I do a lot of roll racing

This is exactly what i was argueing with people the other day about, Gearing! People think that you slap on lower gearing and you get a faster accelerating bike. But its not the case as you can see in this video. On a powerful bike lower gearing can mean more wheelies and slower acceleration

That new 'Blade is a wonderful bit of kit. It performs spectacularly. The pegs may be high (so I've heard) but it looks to be worth it. It would be hard to give it away, but as you said, you'll just buy another. And I can't blame you. But that M...a better all-arounder. BMW excels at that.The M for me, all day, every day.
