As shown by the other comments Jawline is not very informed about this product or he would not have been making performance comparisons in the "ECO" mode - lol. The 0 to 60 mph time for these machines is in the pinch over 7 second range, which is not shabby. You keep comparing this to a motorcycle which it is not, and does not claim to be. It is it's own animal and think of it that way. There are loads of "young" people riding these and Rykers these days so search YT and you will get informed. Being safer is definitely a great aspect of these machines and if you were a good rider/driver you could have easily gotten some good thrills and sports car type handling from that 2021 RT. I am 74 years old, have owned 54 two wheelers and am on my second Spyder ( 2013 RS, ES6 , and now 2016 F3 T, MS 6 - 0 to 60 mph in about 4.8 seconds ). My last bike that I sold last June was a 2008 Kawasaki ZX 14 Ninja so I know how to go fast and love to do so even at my age being a rider for 64 years now since 10 yrs. old. You should not sell these Spyders short due to your own lack of familiarity and short comings. A 10 minute ride is not sufficient to make a complete evaluation. First impressions are rarely reliable. Just do an objective evaluation in your own opinion of the machine for yourself and leave out the insulting assumptions ( when you assume it means - makes an ass out of u and me ) and leave the rest to others to decide whether they like or dislike the Spyder or any other machine. Yes, the steering is very sensitive and precise, which is a good thing for great handling but you make it sound negative. You must be quite young.

That's because you had it in ECO mode

I have 2021 RT Limited and just went on a motorcycle run with 100 bikers and they hall ass. I have no problem keeping up with them. This guy rides in eco-mode and expects super acceleration when it's designed to give you better gas mileage. I give this review a FAIL.

Pretty sad review. You handicap the bike by riding in Eco Mode at the same time coming across as a two wheel bike snob. Probably not your intention but that’s how you presented yourself. The snide comments about who would ride the bike is offensive to anyone who owns one or is considering one. Also, why is this not a motorcycle? Is it because of the third wheel or because in your opinion they can have only two wheels? It’s not a sport bike but ridden in performance modes it can be fun.

It’s a three wheel motorcycle (trike) its a very nice Turing ride not a crock rocket or a motorcycle and you don’t need to be old to drive it (own it) I’m in my 60s and still drive motorcycles, but I also have a spyder for driving across country in comfort rather than stopping every hour. If your going to compare it to anything try riding a traditional trike. You act like a little kid, its not a race bike its for Turing you know long distance riding instead of lane splitting and being an ass on the road.

You haven't a clue! Firstly, you still have to lean in corners, and you don't have to back off, secondly, you change gears differently on Can Ams you leave throttle open when changing and not throttling on and off to do it! Lastly, if you are not experienced on riding a Can Am stop making assumptions about riding skills and age suited for riding them! People of all ages ride them, want sports, ride an F3-S, want to tour get an Rt which are great for towing as well!

He doesn’t have a clue at all😂 and he says it’s slow comparing to other brand cruiser like goldwing, Harley’s, Indian there all in the same bracket to power and torque
@sueroach30693 жыл бұрын
You are mistaken about the power my friend. I own the 2021 Spyder RT. It's a 1330 ACE ROTAX man! It is not supposed to lean like your little 450. If you are going to do a review, you really should learn more about the machine. I never saw you even push the machine to go any faster than about 25 mph. You also should have taken it out of ECO mode dude!! I love my Spyder and I can stay up with my friends who ride Harleys. We have a great time.

I am one of those old riders at 66, and have rode motorcycles since I was sixteen. Put me on a curvy mountain road on my 2021 can-am limited against his two wheeler and I will smoke him! He does not know the machine, or how to ride it. Hell, he can't even remember where the brake is. As far as shifting goes I can shift mine very smoothly and make it haul ass. He does not have the experience on enough motorcycles to give it a decent review, in my opinion.
@sueroach30693 жыл бұрын
@@bigcoolbanana YES! Thanks for the reply. I love my Spyder!! Such a smooth ride! As I said, this guy just took advantage of an event where they were allowing people to just walk up and test drive. He obviously knew nothing about the machine, which makes me cringe to think they would have allowed him to just hop on and take off! I also own a Harley Sportster 883... and love it too! Good day Sir... :)

not sure how long you been riding motorcycles but the front brake should only be used with the rear brake or just to hold you in place, you grab the front brake at high enough speed without the rear your just asking to spill. Front brake in rain is a no no or a nice painted arrow.

You do realize the Spyder has one break that operates all the wheels at the same time, right?

Your review makes me appreciate the ones by people who know what they are talking about. You don’t understand who the person is that the spyder is designed for. Your editing is first level amateur at best.

Dude!? What is wrong with you? Worst Can Am review I've found online; and I don't even own one yet. Old folks? What, younger people can't enjoy a Can Am? You can't get an adrenaline rush? Go ahead a do a quick turn at 45 mph; see if you get a adrenaline spike when you get ejected from the seat or you flip the entire thing over. It's for lazy people? Did you actually say that? Unbelievable! Did you take a riding course before you went out? How many times are you going to reach for the brake with your right hand before you get it? Yeah, you're correct, it's not a traditional motorcycle. So ride accordingly. Turn right, lean right; turn left, lean left just like on a two wheeled bike. No counter-steering needed. Slow down! Speed is fun until you get yourself killed. Practice, and don't be a meatball when you ride. Yeah, stay on your motorcycle. Can Am riders don't need you on the road trying to figure out to come to a full and complete stop. Amazing.

Not a fan of reviews from folks with little knowledge of what they're reviewing. Of course if you know that going into watching it the review is about what you should expect. The Can Am is not a motorcycle and shouldn't be reviewed as one. It is just another form of open air transporation with benefits and faults like every other.

How is it not a motorcycle… is a Harley Davidson or goldwing trike not a motorcycle? Yes it is… never do a another video about can am bikes, your completely wrong unless u have one. It’s a cruiser similar to goldwing and Harley.. and currently own a Ryker 900 and a 650 can’t keep up, and you can get ecu tune and pedal commander which wakes it up just like any other motorcycle.. but your comparing them to true sport bikes not other cruisers. Like Indian, Harley, goldwing etc …
