** One thing I forgot to mention in the video, is that if you have an issue with it not blowing off while in park or natural while just reving I had the same issue but I didn't realize that your turbo won't build boost pressure while in park or neutral (unless you have a 2 step ) some of you may already know this. I didn't hope that helps. **

Do the valve is water proof? Or this is affected when you get like in a river or something like that?

Should have replaced all your charge tubes. Also wondering why yours has your BOV pre-interccooler, mine is after.

Good question buddy I am not sure of that, is yours the same model year I think the 2020 are different than the 2021.

@@CameronNorman26 I have a 2021 DS Turbo RR Max. Replaced all my charge tubes and the BOV attached to the longer charge on the passenger side, next to the exhaust.

@Randy I see what your saying there and it had me wondering so I done a little research and I’m thinking the kit you purchased is a full silicone charge tube kit in which the blow off valve will mount to the secondary tube , the kit I have only replaced the primary charge tube. Don think there is any difference other than that from what I read thanks for the question buddy ! Appreciate any and all feedback !

mine doesn’t sound like the video and takes a second for the blow off sound after letting off.. do I have to change to the other spring it came with?

@@kylevl2711 Those questions are all covered in the instructions. Any hesitation is due to the clutches staying engaged and dragging the engine.

@@kylevl2711 its a CVT, you've released the throttle, but the CVT takes a moment to disengage fully. The CVT is keeping a load on the engine. the ONLY thing telling the bov when to open, is the manifold pressure. the BOV doesn't dictate that. its only doing what its being told to do.

The springs are for adjusting the amount of air pressure left in the intake after it opens up. The difference between a little air or a lot of air escaping happens to change the volume, but it's not there intended job. Love the x3 content can't wait to see what else you do.

What’s your opinion on where the filter is located? On mine seems very close to the motor, have tou had any issues with the filter getting to hit from the motor?

Hey good question buddy , I haven’t had any issues so far with that. I actually just checked my filter the other day and all is well and I’ve put about 500 miles on since I installed the BOV. Hope that helps thanks !

I ordered a bov as well but it’s not from rpm and my bov turbo spool doesn’t sound as loud as yours why is that ?

Hey buddy RPM simply just has the best and loudest BOV in my opinion but also what’s probably making mine louder is where I have catless mid pipe as well.

Yes absolutely for the sound lol There's nothing better hearing that turbo spooling up and then release the gas and a loud pshhhhhhhhh I love it and from what I have read they have really good benefits to your motor to help relieve built up pressure in the charge tubes ! I’m not real sure on that I can find out though but this thing is mounted on top of the motor I couldn’t imagine having water up that high lol but I guess people do it .
