I have a 2019 Chevy Malibu RS and I love the setup. However I was disappointed with Chevy now like I was than. They need to have standard LED lighting across the board. Unfortunately you can tell by not making many changes the Malibu is on its way out. This RS should also be able to come with the 2.0L turbo as an upgrade like the Honda Accord sport does. I changed out my front lighting for LED when I tell you it gives so much of a better look it’s not an understatement.

Yeah I was bummed about the 2.0 charged engine not available unless you get the premiere trim.

I plan on getting the dark cherry color on it with the convenience/safety package and the weatherguard on the wheels for the RS, can't wait, especially since it now has wireless android auto! :D

This is a fun car to drive but I find it a little road noisy. They also cheaped out on dual climate control, sun visor that does not extend and hood support is a stick.

The RS should not be a Malibu trim by itself, but a appearance package for the LT and LS trims. One exception, I would have made the 2.0L turbo available for the LT. So a RS appearance package for the LT with the 2.0L turbo would come with performance air intake and FE3 handling package. The LS with the RS package would be as we see in the video.

Only 160 HP? My 2000 GM Buick Century has a V6 with 185 HP. LOL. How reliable is this 1.5 L engine? Does it leak oil? The transmission? It's a nice looking car but long term GM what are the mechanical issues? Cheers!

Well most malibus are stock 4 cylinders. Imo malibus "look" sporty but aren't actually sporty.

My dad has the 2017 and it’s exactly the same, just a smaller touch panel with a different layout and possibly a couple missing features, but his is the base model I believe. Everything else, save for the shifter is 100 percent unchanged.
