That's not how "pedal assist" ebikes work. You have to pedal to move. It's not a throttled bike like a full electric one or standard motorbike. How is this difficult to comprehend?

Experience is telling me that that will be absolute hell to repair if something breaks. One of the cables on my motor snapped and the replacement part, that was listed as the exact motor for that specific model of bike from the bikes original manufacturer, was too small. I think that was my breaking point with ebikes, I could have put a down payment on a car for what I'd put into that bike just for it to keep finding new and expensive ways to break
