I just bought an LT model of this & I really enjoy it. Am I taking it out mudding no, but it handles uneven dirt/sand roads very well. Am I taking it out to the track to race the answer is also no. The new trailblazer is not the same as the old one. It's not built the same but that doesn't mean it's a crap vehicle. They revamped it into a commuter suv & not an suv that can go off road and go fast. We are averaging about 34mpg in city and enough get up & go that my fianceis speeding by accident when he usually drives like a grandma. It is a good compact suv. It might not be as powerful as its predacessor but it's still a decent suv for what it is.

what are you doing to your arm that you hurt it quite badly on the arm rest? I don't get why so many reviewers are obsessed with soft touch areas? If I look at a new vehicle I treat it like getting a house. I have to be impressed on the outside. And then when I get in, I need to be just as impressed if not more. If I'm not impressed with the interior as I was with the exterior then I'll pass. And I'm not of fan of any vehicle that has too much interior trim that's glossy. I'm glad some have gotten away from the piano black gloss trim. That's a headache with finger prints and scratches.

When describing the interior please have a camera facing what you are talking about so we can see and judge for ourselves.And me personally I do like this trail blazer the exterior is very I catching especially with the two tone colors ..I Don’t like the Blazer AT ALL it was quite a change from the previous model I guess they call this modernizing with the new curves on the exterior but to me it was a failed attempt.

Typical CVT shit. Took one for a test drive today. I’ve learned my lesson after a 2015 Ford Focus. Never buy a CVT transmission. 4 cylinder all day from now on.

You were driving a dual clutch. Not a CVT. Only Ford cars that had a CVT was the Fusion Hybrid and the Focus C-max.

The more equipped trailblazer model comes with a 9 speed automatic with the 1.3 3 cyl. Makes 155 hp and 175 ft.lb of torque

That antenna throws me off. It makes it look like a toy and detracts from the aggressive look the RS goes for. Not to mention the lack of a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. Not wowed at all but it’s okay.

Nice package for the price but a 3 cylinder...really GM?!. For $300 more, a comparably equipped, healthier 4 cylinder Hyundai Tuscon is a much better overall value.

Don't knock it until you try it. I'm a Toyota guy but I bought one for taking my kids camping. I actually got the 1.2 liter FWD. It's very good on gas and about a second faster than the AWD version.
