My mother-in-law car is same model and has oil pressure not oil life and I don’t know how to reset this thing

I have a check engine light but I also need a oil change and have 16% left would that trigger the check engine light

Unfortunatly that would not trigger the check engine light. If you have an Autozone, Advanced Auto or pep boys near by they will usually scan the codes for free, let me know what codes you find and I can help troubleshoot!
