The first couple times I did it it did not work. But I let the car rest while looking for another video and I had opened my car door. And tried it again the same way and it worked. So if it doesn't work maybe you have to have your car door open or don't do it right after driving it

Ty bro! The oil change place forgot to do it for me and I wasn't worried because I go by mileage for needed oil changes but once "oil life" got down to 15% an orange wrench symbol lights up. I pretty quickly made the correlation and sure enough, as soon as I followed your instructions, the orange wrench light went off. Just glad it wasn't a "check engine" light. lol
