Okay Group.... Merry Christmas Need your opinion. We all do Villages and see some of you have trains and car tracks. I need your help to find the best (not expensive) train set to purchase where I can add additional tracks, especially straight. And what scale would it be? I was thinking of Polar Express maybe.

Hello, I use Bachmann train set purchased on Amazon, and you can buy a starter kit and also separate tracks to add, straight or curved.

Hope this helps: Bachmann Trains - Thoroughbred Ready To Run Electric Train Set - HO Scale. I was able to add on separate tracks, 4 in a pack, 9" each piece.

Hey Michelle, I currently have an HO scale and for me personally, it is a little small. I want a larger O scale train. The polar express train does seem to be larger than the HO scale and looks great in the villages I have seen. I have never seen that train in person though. If you look at my village from 2020, that is an HO scale Bachmann. It still looks great with the village, I just want it a little bigger. You should also look it up on Facebook marketplace and offer up. People are always selling used trains because they are upgrading.

Congratulations to you. I LOVED your camp ground village. Everything was so thought out and beautifully created. I love the tents and the lights you put in it. The hieroglyphics on the wall of the mountains was over the top! All of the tiny details did not go unnoticed and it is such a beautiful scene. Your water looked so pretty. What did you use for it? I wish I could see it in person.

Aww Miriam that means so much to me 🙏. I couldn't have done it without your step by step videos. This was a year in planning. I started in January buying items every month. I remember you saying sketch and plan for the next year. Every piece I got I would trace the bottom, cut them out so I can place each item where I wanted. I started my platform in August and I went back and watch your entire video catalog. Just inspiring. I got the blue pebbles from amazon for around 8.00 a bag. The blue dew drop lights just made it glow. I do want to ask, can you do a video on just lighting. What to highlight. I need extra spotlights. Our village look so dark. I loved how you highlighted your features. Your village is truly magical.

I'm looking forward to next year to make my village even bigger than my 2 by 4 meter now. I've a few ideas for next year and have to work them out. Thankyou Miriam for some December fun. I really enjoyed competing. As a first time villager I feel super-dee-duper proud to know that I was able to get third place competing with some experienced villagers and some wonderful villages that I saw in those videos. Hello Isabella, I probably won’t do a subscriber tribute this year. The contest took more work than I was ready for and it put me so far behind. I actually have been working nonstop for the last almost 4 weeks (including my day job) and I need a break. I will be taking the next 2 weeks off. You can post it to the Facebook page. Hello Miriam, Can you please clarify something for me? I think there was a mistake, because I was contestant #23, however you stated I was contestant #21. I personally don’t want to take credit from someone else. If there was an honest mistake in stating which # contestant I was, I understand, but if not, I certainly want the credit given to the right person. You have made beautiful arrangements, but this is Christmas “Christ “ celebration. When I make my village ,besides the towns, priority goes to the baby Jesus nativity. I think that should be the goal. You just concentrate in lots of fancy buildings and trees

I’m glad you focus on Christ in your village, that is a beautiful thing. I choose to display Christ with my life. With my words, actions, and loving my neighbor as I love myself. You should stay tuned for the resurrection scene I am creating for Easter, I’m sure you will love it.
