MIR!!!!!RI!!!!AM!!!! OH! MY!GOODNESS! You have blown me away! I have always loved your work and have been very intrigued and inspired by all that you do, but babyyyyyy, this topped everything for me. Even though I want to, I don't even have to see the rest of your Christmas village for this year. You don't understand. This village park displays your talent in a whole new way on a whole nother level, if that's even a word. The beauty of your craft is outstanding. And when you showed the side-by-side view of the real park next to yours, my freaking jaw dropped even lower. Sis you have put this park on the map for sure if no one knew where it was before now. Looking at your park scene compared to the real thing was like looking at a park map. And for the ones that had something negative to say about your village just got shut down with this very video. I love how you kept your composure when you were responding to the ones that didn't understand your village style and the techniques that you use in them while keeping a smile on your face the entire time. This my friends is how a lady acts😉. BOOM! This was hard work and pure determination and dedication that took over you to duplicate this scene. Every single detail is pure perfection. I feel like you should be getting an award and plenty of recognition from the city of the real park. Beautiful beautiful work Miriam. I'm so proud of you. The only question from me that I want to hear the answer to in your next Q&A video is how do you feel after completing such an outstanding work of art, especially when it's almost identical to the real thing? Wow, I have read your comment twice and I am blown away by the love you have shown me. The thoughtfulness and intentionality of your words is a blessing to me. You know what's funny. My husband told me yesterday I should contact the city and send them the video. I was like, "no, I'm not going to do that", and then you mentioned the same thing. 😂 I am very proud of this build, it took me so long to complete and it was extremely tedious but I am so in love with the finished product. Hi Miriam. There are a few sayings that come to mind: "Hurting people, hurt people." They are just so miserable with their own lives that they can't let someone else enjoy theirs. "If you can't say anything nice, then say nothing at all." If that was the law of the land, there would certainly be a lot of mute people! HA! Anywho, you do you, and all the naysayers can go kick rocks! You've done an amazingly beautiful job in recreating the park, but, in all honesty, my opinion doesn't matter. No one else's opinion matters either. If YOU love what you've created, that's all that matters. We creative types often put too much emphasis on what others think and how important their opinions are. Sure we want others to like what we create, but sometimes they don't. Each to their own. Having rambled on like I often do, I will switch gears and say I am so very proud of you and in what you have created. You put in a lot of hard work and so much time and effort. The fruits of your labors have definitely paid off. You keep taking villaging to a whole new level and inspiring so many of us to step out of our comfort zones and try new things. God is always pleased when we take our gifts, share them and help to make the world a more beautiful place. Continue on your creative path, Miriam. The heavens are smiling! You always make me laugh every time I hear from you. Very widely said. Hurt people do try to hurt people. I don’t receive it in my heart but I did want to address it. I am very pleased with my creations and I definitely create things that make me happy. I don’t expect everyone to like it but like you said. If others don’t like it, they could be decent and leave their comments to themselves. I just continue to pray for those who have hurt in their hearts that they express to others. Using words to put others down or express negative “2 cents” is true bondage. It’s not a good frame of mind for any of us to live in. I’m just going to keep focusing on uplifting those around me and encouraging other. That’s when you can see mediocre things become amazing. God bless you and please tell Mom I said hello! 😁

Thank you so much Chante, and very well said. There is no rule book to Christmas Villaging even though some try to make it so. It is up to our own discretion of how we would like to create our worlds. I learned a long time ago to never allow others to put limitations on me in any capacity. I recognize it for what it is, satan working through people trying to diminish what God has put in me. It just simply won't work. Only God has the authority in my life to do so.

Hi Miriam. I think everyone should bow down to the mastery of your creations. Jealousies of narrow-minded individuals have only ever brought pestilence and destruction to all continents since the dawn of time. I was convinced that the Village Builders Community had been spared from ignorance and bitterness but obviously I was wrong and a lot. And since certain individuals will never do it because they are simply cowardly I apologize on behalf of all. Because it is not that you have no talent, because it is not that you do not have a gift but because you are unique in having a gift and a talent at the same time. The way you have of representing the world around you as you perceive it making it better than what mother nature created has no equal, neither yesterday, nor today and nor tomorrow. I love that our Christmas village community is mostly spared from discouraging words but there still are some out there. Well, Miriam, I understand where you’re coming from in making your village to match your climate. I can tell you that in my 65 years, I’ve seen as many 75 degree Christmas days as I’ve EVER seen a cold Christmas! And I’ve NEVER seen a white Christmas here in the south. I do love the idea of snow so I definitely put it in my village but if I was making it more realistic, there would be a lot more green in my village. 😊

Your park scene is so gorgeous. I love all your village builds Miriam. You were my inspiration to build my own Christmas village last year. It turned out even better than I had expected, so now I am making it 50% larger this year and having so much fun. I also have grass and flowers in my village. Miriam! I'm not going to lie, after the intro to this video I paused it and went searching for those negative comments...I feel like some people need an attitude adjustment! I live in North Dakota and if I wanted my village to reflect that, my houses would be set up completely flat, covered in snow and ice, and there would be a fan setup near by because it is stupid windy here. Nobody wants to look at a village that looks like that, nobody wants to live in one either! 😅 Your park scene was perfect! The details are so inspiring! I just finished my "plaza" last night and mid build switched it to a park style plaza. Side note: to all you fun killers... this year I added a few PALM TREES to my village! So take that! 😝

😂🤣😂. Monica, I am cracking up laughing. You are hilarious. Some of the comments I didn’t mind but it is the emails that just go too far. I don’t understand why people take so much of their own precious time to rain on some else’s parade. Life is just too short and villaging is too fun to be so negative. 😂🤣 I might have a palm tree or two in my village this year as well. We have tons of palm trees where I love. They are one of the trees that thrive in my desert heat.

I am new to villaging and even though I live in the midwest where sometimes we get lots of snow and sometimes we don't I am still going to add color and snow to my village. You have the most incredible ability to set up your village where its beautiful from no matter what angle you look at it, from the front, the side, the back, i remember that in your village last year where between the rows of houses if you looked at it from the side there were beautiful alley ways. I can see how much work was put into the foundation of this park scene and its amazing how you showed us how you layed everything out first. A strategy I'm using this year. 😉 I love the sitting figures on the lawn and their lovely wine bottle, too cute! You park is so very realistic and unique. I also adapted another of your strategies of taking a scene in real life & try to build it. All your videos & villages are phenomenal, so whatever negative comments you are getting, most likely they have nothing else to do and obviously have no ability to appreciate the finer things in life. Villaging makes us happy and we have a great villaging community thanks to you who made this platform a reality. By the way, where did you get the lil flowers from?

At the start of the reveal you show a set of steps and a sidewalk at the entrance to the park. How was that done? Again a great re-creation of a real park. Thank You for inspiration.

Wow that park is beautiful! Love it. Where did you get the flowers? Did you make the willow trees? I wish I had more room for a park. Anyone with cats have any suggestions on keeping your cats out of your villages? We just got a cat so this will be the first Christmas with her. I set up my village in my bay window she has claimed my bay window! LOL! I hope I will be able to set my village up without Godzilla cat wrecking it. 😁

Hi Miriam Amazing work yet again. I have a quick query around ensuring a level depth on your lake. When I carved my lake it is all different depths which means some of the water/ resin has pooled away . How do you do this? 2 separate layers of foam?

I use a few different types of glues depending on what project I am doing. I use styrogoo and foam coat from Hotwire foam factory. I also use Elmer’s white glue, mod podge, hot glue, super glue, and scenic cement from woodland scenics. What are you trying to glue together so that I can tell you what type of glue I use?
