I put a lithium in my onward and a gear kit, mine now runs 30mph on the GPS, and it’s PERFECT now. Hey buddy just FYI those watering systems are NO BUENO. My buddy has a cart place here in Florida and after 2 years or so the acid eats at the floats which will drop down into your battery , also can block your rear battery and it will not get water. Beautiful

That sounds awesome! I will upgrade to lithium at some point, but for now the batteries work well and I get enough range to play a lot of golf between charges. Thanks for sharing regarding the watering system. So far it has worked well. I just had the cart serviced and they indicated the batteries and watering system are great after almost 2.5 years of extensive use. If there becomes an issue it will be a good excuse to update to lithium! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Great review. I was surprised how few reviews you find online. We just ordered a new Lithium Onward 4 non-lifted. There is around a 6 month wait currently on custom orders.

I'm glad this was helpful! That is great you are going with the lithium option! I was surprised as well when I was researching before purchase. There was mostly videos focused on tuning up the carts or how fast they went. I hope the full review really gives people the full picture. We love ours and use it all the time. Thanks for watching!

You should do a follow up video. Did you add any other accessories? Mine arrives tomorrow. I got standard batteries, lifted street legal with upgraded motor

Great review. I’m thinking about buying one. My club insists on a carts being green - everyone that comes up at a decent price on marketplace is not green. Thinking about getting a different colour then spraying or wrapping it. Do think the color sections of bodywork’s could be removed easily enough ?
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I'm glad the video was helpful. I've learned that everything on these carts is just a part or component. You can somewhat easily remove the panels to wrap them or certain dealers sell body kits that you can just buy to replace what's there. Good luck with your purchase!

We just ordered our 2022 ONWARD. Battery bc we're full-time RVers with an anchor property in SC. Needed a nice quiet machine when coming upon marsh birds and deer.

That's awesome! Congrats! I initially wanted gas, but the battery has been great. One large advantage in the golf world is being able to move without distracting the other golfers! I'm sure you'll experience the same using it to observe nature!

Man, I was strongly considering a Chinese cart like Bintelli, but this and some other videos have me second guessing it. Might be best to just get a Club Car.
@BogeyKingGolf Жыл бұрын
I am not sponsored by Club Car so this is my own opinion - I love the Club Car and would recommend it in a heartbeat after over 2 years of ownership. The 2 issues I had (windshield crack and seat tear) Club Car replaced free of charge under warranty. They have great availability of accessories and the aluminum frame never rusts. I pressure wash every few rounds and it looks brand new each time. There are some other cool cart manufactures, but I don't think you can go wrong with Club Car. Everyone who rides with me says they never want to ride a regular cart again! Thanks for watching and commenting! Good luck on your cart purchase!

Do you have the DC or AC motor? Your course looks like it is fairly flat, any problems with hills?
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
I have the regular dc motor and have not had any issues with hills. My home course is links style so it isn’t super hilly, but there are some decent elevation changes depending on the fairway/rough. I’ve also driven it around some fairly hilly campgrounds with no issues - even with 4 people on it. Thanks for watching! Please consider subscribing if you haven’t done so already!

Nice video, what make is your brush guard? Thanks
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The brush guard is from Club Car. I had it installed from the dealer when we purchased the cart. I've seen a few of the aftermarket options and IMO this is the best. I think it was around $325.

Thanks and yes it looks really nice, much better than any others I have seen. I’m getting my new Onward in about a week I’ll be adding one of these to it. Thanks again.

I can’t seem to find anything on the Versattach golf bag holder. What are your thoughts on it? Any issues getting clubs out with the canopy? What type of bag works best since they are mounted reverse of a normal cart?
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
Great question - I don't have the versattach holder. I have the older system that came out prior. I don't think there is much of a difference regarding the bag holder. Versattach gives you more options for coolers, divot mix, etc. Every once in a while the canopy will get in the way if I'm not paying attention, but overall it's not an issue. Having the bag secured at the top and bottom helps keep it stable while out on the course. I have been able to fit my OGIO cart bag which is fairly large. I did make a small adjustment that made it easier to load large bags - I removed the spacers they had installed where the bags attach to bring the connection closer to the rear rails.
@heathhoward2 жыл бұрын
@@BogeyKingGolf Appreciate that. The video looks like it is essentially the same golf bag setup. Was worried about getting clouds out and constantly hitting the canopy. Can’t find any info on the VersAttach system. Odd. I guess I’ll post one when (if) my cart ever comes in.

is this an AC or DC motor by the way how fast is she
@BogeyKingGolf Жыл бұрын
I believe mine is a dc motor. The high output or lithium carts have the ac motor. I had them max out my speed setting and disable regen braking. I can get up to 22mph with it.

How is the steering wheel stiffness?
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
Seems fine to me. It doesn't take much effort to turn the wheel at all and keeps the cart straight/aligned well.

Lost me at battery operated. Gas is way better
@BogeyKingGolf2 жыл бұрын
It definitely comes down to preference. I wanted gas initially, but have been pleasantly surprised by the battery version. Since we also take ours to camp grounds we've ran into a few places that don't allow gas carts. Thanks for watching! We'll have more golf cart content this year. If you're not a subscriber please consider doing so to get notified of that new content.

Gas carts cant be speed upgraded much though where electric carts can. My CC Precedent with upgraded motor/controller/lithium battery goes 36-37mph. If you are going up hills a lot in your area a gas cart may be better though.
@yocastamontas78862 жыл бұрын
Gas ia not better. It is slower,less speed and power. The only advantage gas has is travel distance but no one is driving around town in them. I am a former supervisor at Club Car and have been selling them for 15 years. Onward, and Tempo are just a Precedent with different bodies, and options
