Really want to see the 2021 SE. I saw in the 2021 Corolla Configurator that the SE has XLE/XSE tail lights and I really want to see if it has them instead of the LE's or 2020 SE's tail lights.

Jeff - full disclosure. The convenience package is definitely available on the 2020 Corolla LE. It includes the alloy wheels, the BSM (without cross traffic alert) and the smart key. However the 2020 package ALSO comes with a MOONROOF which the 2021 does not. That, in itself, is a price increase, because the moonroof has some value. That package is NOT worth $1150.

I still can't believe the 2020 doesn't have Android Auto. I bought mine and was told it did onky to find out it doesn't. Do we know if Toyota plans on releasing a firmware update to the 2020 Models for Android Auto? I would have waited for the 2021 if I knew that was the case :(

I hate that Toyota will leave out major features on purpose (Android Auto), so they can add it on next years model. This corolla Le has bigger and nicer screen than new Rav4. With rav4 you have to get $$$ upgraded sound system to get 8 inch screen.

Android Auto should have came with the 2020 redesign or actually in the previous. Toyota is late with it. I wish Toyota would offer an update to the system in the 2017-2019 models. Unfortunately, we are stuck with the outdated system (Entunes 2.0 which doesn't support it) and I want Android Auto on my 2018 model

Design wise is the same. Main difference is that 2021 now has android auto and 2020 doesn't. However it doesn't mean that on 2020 you can't use Android phone on it. I will say yes you can because you can play spotify or other music files you got with no problems, you can still use GPS on it if you have scout gps link and you would just plug USB on it then you set. I know many people have got problems with scout gps link app but in order for it to work properly make sure you have toyota entune open and when you use GPS link for the first time a screen pop up will ask which one you want to use and just choose scout gps link then you set. Blindspot monitoring now exists in 2021 but not in 2020. However in 2020 you can get it as part of the package like myself as ita standard in canada. You can get engine start stop button on 2021 but on 2020 its still the key ignition like the one JEFF showed there which I personally prefer for a number of reasons.

Still don't like how the SE and XSE corolla's have the Toyota logo glued to the hood instead of being on the front grill. It looks cheap and reminds me of Kia. The front of the LE and XLE looks more sporty than the SE and XSE front, even though thouse are not even the sport editions.

Toyotajeff in Raleigh Hi Jeff, if you ever get to provide feedback to Toyota, let them know that power seats are needed in higher Corolla trims for a lot of older folks because manually adjusting can be really difficult for them. It’s a great car that could be better. I know my parents (octogenarians) would buy the Corolla over Civic, but the Civic EX trim does have power seats. Overall, Honda has made the Civic EX & Touring trims the go to car for seniors who don’t want something bigger. Toyota is losing sales here.

Can make calls, play music, can even use alexa. The only thing that I do not have is the engine start stop button.

A new RAV4 is more than just a little more money. Thousands of dollars more even for the most basic RAV4 and easy to spend $40K on a maxed out RAV4.

This corolla LE has bigger and nicer 8 inch screen, than new Rav4's 7 inch screen with ugly gray plastic bazel. With rav4 you have to get upgraded $$$ sound system to get nicer 8 inch screen.

any idea why accessories are so expensive? $250 or something for some strips of plastic body side moulding and even worse prices for other things. lol $400 paint protection plastic wrap, what? just for a part of the hood? id expect the whole car for that. lol door cup orotection plastic film again for $80ish. man these are laughable prices. im sure everyone would suup up their rides more with more sensible prices. better to sell something than nothing, right? bring the prices down. also the security camera toyota sells needs to be a 360 degrees of sight accessory or at least 180 degree. $650 for one direction is so much money. way cheaper stuff on amazon that people will buy instead and more functional. its cool if people are loaded and want to pay the high prices for toyota accessories but bring the prices down for people who ask for lower price. which maybe you do i dont know. every car also needs rubber floor mats, surprised it doesnt come standard. who wants to clean carpet mats when rinsing a rubber one is so much easier and better for the car. or do like japan and take your shoes off and put them in a box lol

It’s because it’s in the Southeast Toyota dealer’s region. They force some very overpriced accessories on all the cars at the port before they even get delivered to the dealerships. I’m so glad I don’t live in that region of the country and don’t have to deal with that.
