Totally agree. I came to the comments to say the collaborative work between the two production companies made this the best tournament coverage I have ever seen.
@ryanfaber93843 жыл бұрын
100% on board with this kind of collaboration. The added tension, especially in a high profile event like this, does wonders for the production value of these videos. I won't say I've watched the full chase card coverage from Gatekeeper but I've definitely gone over for a few rounds during this event primarily due to the check ins from Jomez.
@MDSF903 жыл бұрын
Agreed. At first I thought it was just JoMez’s staff covering the chase card with one or two extra cameras. Thought “Gatekeeper Check-In” was just a name JoMez gave their own little feature. Then I saw the “Media” part of the name and realized it’s a separate media coverage company altogether. Lol. Anyway, def a big shout out to them for collaborating with JoMez to bring us all of the coverage showing the lead changes, mid round. Gotta love it! Keep up the amazing work!

It looked like it hit a nub on the backside and projected his disc the other way, as opposed to a spit out. Still absolutely brutal though, 100%. Reminds me of the KJUSA putting woes a couple of weeks ago that cost him the tourney.

I really appreciate you guys including the flight numbers of the discs that are being thrown. If you're not to familiar with a company's discs it gives a good idea of what kind of disc it is. It's also cool to see the different approaches players have towards certain holes. One goes with a 14 speed te other with a 7 speed.

underrated comment Jomez beefing up the stat tracking is going to bring disc golf to tv and the public even more powerfully. Some people spend so much money on baseball and never ever intend to play. They are happy to just to follow great statistical performances.

"He looks like the terminator walking around" 🤣Ulibarri's occasional unfiltered observations are extremely appreciated. It's nice to have a little whimsy to keep me engaged and my brain stays focused better with a little detour like that. Please never change. I watch a lot of post-produced slightly obscure sports coverage, and I was surprised to find a few months ago that disc golf has arguably the best commentary among them all. This trio is gold.
