Two weeks ago I was shipped out to San Francisco by Ducati USA for the launch of their brand new 2021 Monster! The bike has so many amazing innovations, but still has that iconic fun factor and naked look of the original Monster. It was such a joy to ride the Pacific Coast Highway and urban San Fran with a bunch of amazing women. Stay tuned for a part 2 where I get into more of my experience in California for the event.

Really loved your first ride review of this monster. I am a bit perplexed though didn't you make a video not a month back saying you didn't want to make moto videos anymore? Or did I misunderstand that whole video? How was the experience riding up and down the famed Lombard Street..? As a Monster rider, I am a bit perturb about the lack of trellis frame. It does look like a more refined version of a Yamaha MT-07, and way sexier. I might be in the market for a new one, and this one could very well be it. …

love your videos. Looking to purchase my first bike. Im between the ducati monster and scrambler nightshift. Being that you own the scrambler and rode the monster, which would you pick? Like the idea of growing with the monster thanks to all the electronics

Between the Nightshift and the Monster, I'd say the Monster! The modes are a really excellent distinguishing feature. I do like the Nightshift and the whole Scrambler lineup, but I feel like there are quite a few little cosmetic things worth revising on that one.

A group of bright red Ducatis seems like a real attention-getter on city streets (especially with pony tails on display). I have no experience with quick-shifters; can they be used *continuously* without excessive wear-and-tear on the trans? Thanks for taking us on the picturesque ride, Meghan.

Did you feel the engine got overly hot while at lights?

Not all! Granted the weather was nice and mild (low 70s in the mid-morning), but this bike is liquid cooled so it didn't get hot at all for me at lights. My scrambler definitely gets super hot in the summer

The 2021's are liquid cooled, so they feel way less hot while stationary. I didn't notice the heat at all, while on my Scrambler it can be brutal on days over 80 degrees F
