Thanks for the video, I have the streetfighter v4s, it seems that V2 has more plenum space vis a vis V4. But I was able to tidy-up the wires on the exterior lol.

I stripped the torx bolt and thought I was screwed, but then realized it wasn't holding the fender to the bike so I disconnected the wire, removed the fender and just broke the two pieces apart.

Same thing happened here, so had to break the pieces. Mine was a black torx screw. After that there was no going back :) Successful install in the end, so it was all good. I kept the factory blinkers. Thank you Bill @ Cali Moto TV! Turns out there was no need to remove any of the seats.

I just commented that the other bolt that you striped does not even have to come out to remove it. So yes, just leave it in until the tail is removed from the bike, it's easier to remove anyway with it off the bike. 🏍 🏍

Ducati Performance don't have the part number on hand it's fairly easy to find.

Ducati sells two types. One threaded with a nut, one that is not. We used the threaded ones through the MD tail tidy.

You don't have to remove that silver bolt to remove it, just pull down hard, it's a tight fit in that rubber grommet, but yeah that bolt does not have to come off to remove it.just remove the 2 allen bolts on the left and the right side and pull down hard.

Hey! Reading a lot about FE not passing the state inspections. How can one find out what’s allowed and what’s not in their state? Interested in info regarding Texas

It's a DOT not state thing. If your state has inspections and enforces DOT regulations, per DOT the license plate has to clear the rear wheel and the indicators have to be at least 9inch apart (or there about).

You don’t need to take the torx silver screw out to remove it from the bike, just the two Allen screws, literally the easiest tail section in the world to remove, the silver torx screws are to join the two pieces of the factory tail tidy.

There are videos of removing the tail and none of them say to remove that silver bolt to remove the tail, they just show that you have to remove the 2 allen bolts on the right and the left.

Hi sorry could have learned, if you actually did an idiot video and showed where the boot that the triangle went into and showed all the bolts in place rather than just look at it from the licence plate. But gave a like, think that the nrcwould look better with this model
