After riding the 25 a bit i didn't notice as much heat. But it wasn't a long ride.

Great video, thanks. Quick question.. Why was the 899 the worst version of the V2? Back in the day it was popular n many folks rode it, In relation to the new V2. I ask because the new V2 has a 890cc engine. It seem more like Ducati was going back to its Original 890ish engine.

I was referring to the dash, not the bike as a whole. I agree the 899 was a rather good bike, the 959 (v2 now) was the one i didn't like. Because it had the issues the 1199 had but with less power.

@ Thanks, and yes that was a truly bad Dash Display. 🤣🤣 , a neighbor had one n i told him about his Dash.. I still recall his words “when ur tucked in flying on this thing u dont look down.”😂 but yes bad dash

I take new v2s because im slow, but maybe wait for black or white or sp. Or just go sf, but maybe v4s in that case. 🙃

I don't think it v2s will be slow! I think it will draw people from the v4! 25 sf v4s is what I'm eyeing!

@CaliMotoTV just need to see how that new v2 engine feels, I didn't like the old one because it was too top endy with not much going on in the midrange (other than the torque dip lol). The new one should be much better in that regard

V2 Bayliss, perfectly designed and what Ducati should be. The Perfect Bike. Everything else is just bragging rights and ego.

Not necessarily, ego or bragging rights. The Bayliss is great and has the components i would want on my v2. The bigger bikes are just people's preference I like the size and feel of the bigger bikes.

@@CaliMotoTV I agree. I have both. As far as I can tell, the feel is so much better with the V2 especially the Bayliss due to its upgrades from the factory. The V4R on the other hand is powerful and again, bragging rights. Harder to handle due to its power on the twist compare to the consistency feel of the V2. But I agree, I do like the bragging rights and the power it delivers straight up. I’d take the V2 Bayliss or final edition first anytime before the bigger bikes. Or just have both so you don’t have to compromise or sacrifice. Ride safe 🤙
