They look awesome stock for sure, what motivated me to work with the style and make it my own. Only other trim I want to add, is the side skirts that way it’ll be lower trim all around the car. Figure that way it’ll look cleanly done and not rice lol Enjoy that Bose system, I’m sure that’s nice!

@@ace_helix4186 - ya I actually wanted to ask what Veloster rims are those? After much thought I decided to bag mine and throw white rims on them but kinda wanted to remain OEM when it comes to wheels. To me it just keeps everything together in a stock sort of way.

They are stock Veloster R spec wheels. Those center caps came on them

I just used the screws that came with it. Short screws good for cutting through plastic.

looks very clean! I would say for the mirror peace you should add some reflective tape to cover the blue paint which was not coved all the way or even get some carbon fiber skin and just lay it on there to make it super clean

I haven’t, but I have an AEM in the package waiting for install. Looking at the k&n vs AEM I like the look of the aem because it looks to have better coverage to keep the heat out of the airbox. I’ll be installing in a couple days

Yeah, you’ll have to drill/screw into the plastic part underneath the bumper

Thanks. I got lucky and found them used still mounted and balanced. They are the stock wheels from a 2019-2020 Veloster r spec. You can buy them on some websites though, or shop aftermarket. Sometimes OEM wheels can be pricey!

@@foreverfinerthings39 no, that size makes it so the overall diameter is the same as stock so it doesn’t really change your speedometer or gearing.

That is what it is made for so it should be all good. Can’t make guarantees but that is the same stuff manufacturers use to add trim to cars anyways

Thanks! I would give you the links but looks like that seller sold out. Look on eBay for a duckbill style, and mirror caps (I got carbon horned style). Hope you enjoy! I’m trying to think if there’s advice I can give you! One thing I can say, is if you use the cruise control you’ll get great fuel Econ 👍🏻

I bought them used off Facebook as a full set. They are the wheels that came on a 2020 Veloster r spec, the owner just pulled them off when they bought the car.

Screw into the plastic part on the bottom of the stock bumper. Not into anything painted

I feel better about the install with the use of tape + the screws. I got 3m automotive mounting tape at autozone. That stuff is meant for this kind of thing.

I just liked the more aggressive look it gives the car. I went with a carbon fiber pattern, since I have a little bit of that on each side of the car.

i’m thinking of getting this for mine only question i have is the screws did you secure them or just screw them into the thin plastic? because im worried from vibration and just wind it could get loose and fall off or break

All of the screws are just drilled into the thin plastic, and I also have a strip of 3m automotive molding tape holding the middle piece. No problems so far, have scraped it on the ground a few times but hasn’t come loose.

Hey, How much lower did this front splitter make your car. Maybe like an inch or two? I really want one but im worried about scraping it on the little dip on my driveway.

Like 1” to 1 1/2” or something like that. The good thing is that I would much rather scrape having that on there instead of scrape on the stock bumper. I have scraped a few times but never anything bad happened. I’m also still tempted to lower the car more haha cuz it would look so good! I hit all steep inclines on an angle just to be safe.

@@ace_helix4186 It would look so good yeah, I want Coil overs but i would 100% scrape on everything. not sure how much clearance id have when its on and im sure its pretty hard to tell what you can drive over without going at an angle for at least a month or two. Im just thinking about when if i dont have enough room to go at an angle then im just stuck scraping it, but considering i havnt done anything else to lower the car im assuming it shouldnt be as low as i think, even with it being 1 to 1 1/2 inch lower with the splitter

@@LeafyCEE when I put the coilovers on, and set the adjusters as low as I could in the rear, the car lowered less than an inch. So it’s not too much further. I’m tempted to just remove the spring adjuster and it’ll lower more, now that I’m used to driving it lowered haha

Hey there! Car looking nice! Also got the sel model you sold me on the front lip and the spacers, just sticking to those for now. How is the front lip holding up? Trying to decide between yours and the pp one from spec d. Feel it might last longer but doesn’t look as nice as yours. And also on your spacer video, you switched the nuts to new black ones but would the stock lug nuts still work for it?

Thanks, all good so far. I have scraped a few times, and even curbed the splitter in parallel parking 2 times. Still seems sturdy but now there seems to be a tiny bit more flex on one side. The stock lugs will work fine, in fact I have those on my car now.

I like the chin splitter alot, came out nice. Hopefully it holds to highway winds&no scrapes. I've been wanting to do one on mine but idk what a shops gonna charge me to lift and do it. Your spoiler on the rear is that 3m as well? I wanted to add a small spoiler to mine as well but didn't wanna drill into my trunk haha did that years ago on my charger and although it came out great killed me to drill into the car lol.

Yes correct, the rear spoiler is on with just 3m. The front and rear diffuser have 3m plus screws into the plastic.
