How much power does the head unit output? I'm trying to save the hassle of doing all of this rewiring and just replacing the speakers themselves but I don't know how much the head unit can power

Hey mitch what speaker wires exactly did you tap into? Which ones are positive and negative? Whats left and right? What did you tap for power and remote on for the loc???

Very top 2 pink wires, the power I got from the battery and the remote I got from the usb fuse on the inside panel, I had a fuse tap for the dash cam and I just split it on that. Sorry for the late reply

bought a 23 elantra sel. 3 days ago and I like it a lot. it's very similar to this one

You most likely will never be able to replace it because so many of the cars features and settings are in there and you can’t change them if you replace it. It also would cause a check engine light if you remove it cause the multimedia module is the head unit

This is a non bose system correct? I see other installs of people just grabbing signal from the left rear speaker wire on the b pillar, i want to do it right and get both rear channels. Anything i should know before going into this??? Looking to use kicker loc. does the elantra 2023 non bose do anything fancy to the audio system like ANC? Thanks in advance!

It worked out decently. Added just the right amount to make up for the missing stock sub that should be in the back. Clean too
