As per the commentator, since she doped, she now has an advantage 5 years later, because she knew how it feels to lift 130kg. What a ridiculous thing to say. But I suppose she had to look for reasons Davies didn't win (though I personally think she might have been able to do it, she was in great form) She did the same with Anastasiia, when she made the lift, the commentator was saying possibly her elbow buckled but the Russians intentionally had her wear black sleeves on a dark background to hide it.

I wonder if Michaela Breeze ever gets tired of being wrong? The rule is not that the bar can't oscillate. The rule is that that lifter must be stationary/there must be a pause/delineation between the clean and the jerk. The lifter she was dragging was stationary between the clean and jerk. A lifter is not penalized for bar oscillation due to setting their jerk rack position unless you double dip like Tian Tao or there's no pause. FFS...

Sarah Davies certainly couldn't beat Toma. Michaela commentator somewhat overzealous as so many decades drugs have dominated lifting with Great Britain being clean at bottom but now natural( for most countries ) in women's lifting. Yes those that were under drugs dictated by their country developed muscle,tendon, ligament strength that stayed with them somewhat after ending drugs. Note snatch & clean& jerk weights have come right down with c&j today less than they would snatch years ago.

The lower weight classes can't lift as much as the heavyweights, but they don't suffer from obesity. They look quite fit. Olympic lifting is an interesting sport because it measures static strength in the squat, and being able to lift the bar to a certain height (enough to get under it) but is largely a matter of skill and speed. I like the fact that crossfit has incorporated this skill into its repertoire. You sometimes see Olympic lifters migrate to strongman competitions.

Toma has a history of cheating and that is not surprising coming from Romania. Just watched their "woman" that competed in the 49kg bracket. So much acne scarring from doping and voice pitch deeper than a man. I'm glad the announcer had the guts to say something. It feels a bit silly watching all these people compete against a cheater. Not only you have no any clue about what you are speaking but all what you a saying is to repeat as a parrot all what that frustrated woman, Michaela Breeze was saying! Now, going on the technical part of the story, note few things. I know will be hard for you, but try to understand by reading at least 10-15 times and also asking someone smarter then you to explain you: 1. Different types of buster drags are used by all the athletes all over the sports. The difference between them are very small and some of them are taking with few weeks before competition as per the medic advise and also based on the time required by each type of buster drug to be eliminated from body.Theoretically, they should be eliminated from the body before the competition but not all the human body are the same. In some of them is eliminated faster than other. Get the point? So, all of them are using the drugs but sometime the drug are getting eliminated in time and some of them gets cough! 2. Regarding the tostesteron: when a woman is using tostesteron, her body get more muscle, grow hair on the body, basically the woman become more masculine. Not looking honestly at all the woman who compete in this 64kg category... who was the one who was looking less masculine? Toma was looking much more "woman" than Sara! Look at the quantity of muscles, definition and also at the whole body of Sara VS Toma... who has more masculine characteristics? 3. The difference in "lifting technique" between Toma and Sara is huge! Sara is at least a class below Toma! This is a fact! Now, also, the "tostesteron" which she took 6 years ago is the reason? Or maybe Sara needs much better quality trainers/personnel around she... 4. Do not forget that Toma almost lift the 137Kg... Sara Davis lift 129kg and was not a easy lift for her. What is the difference? We are speaking on a difference in strength of more than 17Kg which is more that 10% weight! Try only to think about... 5. Acting ignorant, repeating what other idiot is speaking without to try to think for your self and, being idiot can be very comfortable but... it is not an excuse!
