When I interviewed with Delta I got that question 15:40. They asked me if you were missing meals for the first class cabin and waiting for the meals you would get a late departure what would you do? I told him on one half depending on a flight for example New York to LA would have very disappointed passengers that spent X amount of dollars to get the most exceptional customer service in-flight experience and on the other hand I have the company Delta renting a gate at JFK and I’ll getting charge for every minute. And if you’re model is to give safety and the most greatest customer spurs in the world since you know they want the jd power and associates award, I rather take the “lost” and get a delay and later explain what went wrong. And the I wanted to give the Pax what they paid for..

@TyttwinD

Yes so the most jr base is FLL..and ACY is pretty sr however people from my class already have a line there..the reserve period is pretty much 2yrs give or take a couple of months. Yes it will eventually end just takes patience and if you're going to commute extra patience and finesse.

I think for me now that its been harder here for me to manipulate my schedule the way I want, its the fact that I miss out on birthday dinners or stuff like that...also fatigue..im always tired now too which sucks but i push through that and on my days off I tend to lay around for the most part to catch up on my rest. Also no problem..cus you don't have to be young to do this job you just have to be flexible and willing for the lifestyle change.

If they offer you the cjo accept it and then if you’re offered the cjo at the other airline accept that one as well.. that’ll give you an opportunity to figure out which one you want to go with and then all you’ll have to do is tell whichever airline another opportunity came up but thanks for considering you… you know something professional that way if you ever want to reapply you can

This video is life! The best one that I've watched , and there are tons! Thank you so very much! My question to you is, is it possible to commute? Im from New Jersey and have no clue where home base would be. Is the idea of relocating mean I'd have to pack up my entire apartment and move somewhere else? (I don't want to do that) i have a 22 year old that still needs a stable roof over her head.
@TyttwinD
@TyttwinD 3 жыл бұрын
Depending on what airline you’re applying there may be a base there, but even if there isn’t commuting is definitely possible, you may have to get a Crashpad or do the whole commuter hotel deal if you don’t know anyone in the city your based in but definitely doable

OK so I got two different answers for the question of if you see a coworker doing something dishonest another flight attendant said that she would go ahead and tell the flight attendant about the situation and if the flight attendant does it again and yeah go ahead and report it because they don’t want people to snitch they want people to work together what do you think about that answer?

Should you also say yes to willing to relocate if you are absolutely not willing? Can you get hired and then "change your mind", but keep the job?
@TyttwinD
@TyttwinD 2 жыл бұрын
In short no….you may not get the base you want but you don’t necessarily have to pick up and move to the base you get….you can commute there and on your days off go back home…but if you don’t get the base you want and aren’t willing to commute (which at times can be stressful) then idk how this will turn out for you. I do however suggest you look up videos of ppl commuting and seeing what that means for crew members to see if you would be willing to do that if you don’t get the base you want. But more importantly you also have to remember this job is about flexibility and it’s important to grasp that concept quickly in this industry, because things do change quite frequently.

To be quite honest i dont even remember doing a vision test, however having said that my memory is awful. But i wouldnt think that it would automatically disqualify you, so long as you passed the vision test if they still do them.

Hello! So glad I’ve found your video. I took my orientation last night night and have the final IN PERSON interview at the end of this month. I will say that although the travel benefits are great, the pay for spirit SUCKS! $1600/month PRE tax, PRE union dues, PRE uniform deductions. How is one supposed to live off of that?? My rent is $1150/month. I’m second guessing this and need some help. Any advice you can give? Thank you in advance🙏🏾

Hi there thanks for watching and great question so yea we get paid 2 times a month with any airline and with the base pay without you actually flying at all you could make any where in between 1100-1600 a month however because you’ll be flying one of those checks with have per diem in it and depending on how much you make and how much you fly one of those checks can equal 1300-1500…i think the biggest check I made at spirit my first year was around 1400 and then i had another check that was just my base pay at the end of the month but i was working a lot. Basically per diem adds up and makes the difference

I have my Spirit Airlines Video Interview due on September 8, 2021. I'm in the process of applying and submitting my Passport application tomorrow (9/32021), so will they ask me if I have my passport? Cuz if I say yes, and I don't, that could be a red flagfor lying. Please help and hope to hear back from ya. Note: Spirit Airlines is probably the only airline that considered me for an interview. Delta Airlines has rejected me multiple times, Southwest and American Airlines still haven't heard from them back and it's been almost two months. Great video btw, thanks

no just make sure that its "tidy" is the word i hear airlines say lol...if i was sporting the beard look i wouldn't go as far and have like a duck dynasty beard but as long as you look put together and it now growing in every direction i think that should be fine. its hard for me to answer the question cus my mind automatically goes to rick ross' beard lol

lol i feel like this is a question in your interview...but i would address the parents and ask them if they could get their child to keep their seat belts on, and sometimes if the parents are having a hard time with their kid Id talk to the child in a manner appropriate with their age. Usually that tends to work.
