That's why they're testing this vehicle to make sure it's up to the daily use most of them will be seeing! If it can handle this pothole it will be right at home in downtown Chicago, Detroit, and Atlanta.

@Power stroke 7.3 wtf are you talking about?? You can still have a really nice truck thats a work truck too... it's called taking care of it. This video is obviously to show what a real driver can do in a factory vehicle that's about to come to a dealer near you. Would you take this said stock from the factory vehicle/ daily driver to this exact spot in moab??? Proly not lol you might go 4 wheel it but this spot is for pros who have crawling rig.

Could have been really impressive in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing, but maybe that is the point. Tire pressure is too high. Need to stay in it after the first bump on the up side and steer more passenger. Bronco looks like the real deal, and I have owned several heavily modified two-door Rubicons.

I’d say about once a decade an American car company absolutely nails it... the 00’s had the charger which brought back the full size and unapologetic American muscle car, then the 2010’s I feel like belonged to the challenger (I realize they first came out in the late 00’s but the Hellcat and scat trims are really what put it over the top and those started in 2014)... And now In 2020 (I guess technically 2021) the new Ford Bronco has absolutely nailed it!

In general, The bouncing is from having tires that are too big for your shocks. Sometimes your tire pressure can be too high also.

Assuming a traction coefficient of 1 (very good, like perfect aside from prepped race tires) the steepest you can climb is 45%. They were at 44.6% meaning they only have 0.4% of the total possible traction at their disposal for acceleration during at least part of this obstacle.

I noticed the second one definitely had a easier time, could've easily done it. All it needed was a little momentum. The second one has beefier tires Sasquatch package which makes sense because it has more grip, lower pressure tire would make even more easier. I think The first is the 285 width tires versus 315 width in the Sasquatch package on the second one.

Funny all these comments on how great a Jeep would do so I searched YT could not find a single stock 4 door Jeep even attempting this I did find one 4 door 2017 but it was modified suspension on aired down 36” tires and still took multiple attempts on the climb to be successful

There are lots of videos of Jeep 4 doors doing this but yea they are modified on big tires because most people don't want to tear up their expensive toys. If someone else is fixing it then sure go for it. And...a stock Jeep does not come with 35s. Still looks pretty impressive.

what are you even trying to say? Oil pressure delivers oil to the turbos/all parts of the block regardless of incline. turbos have been on off road vehicles long before this bronco
@doublej4965
@doublej4965 4 жыл бұрын
@@lawrencedecker17 Not exactly. Engines have a bad habit of pooling oil in the heads on steep inclines and puking it into the intake via the PCV, assuming it doesn't push past valve seals. The decrease in flowing oil causes pressure loss. See new Tacomas or Wranglers smoking on inclines and lighting low pressure lights. Pretty common.
