In a world filled with dull crossovers, the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is a breath of fresh air. Looks great and is filled with character. What do you think?
@williambinns16313 жыл бұрын
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2021 Mazda CX 5 Signature and felt I needed to check out the Bronco just in case. I would not buy a car powered by a 3 cylinder gas engine under any circumstances. The interior looks cheap compared to the Mazda. The exterior is a little too cute and "PT Cruiser" in my opinion. The available 7 speed manual is the car's strongest feature for me but it's not enough. I'm out.

I had a 2021 Bronco Sport Big Bend, I added the 2” lift, and 30” KO2’s and went to Moab and did many of the trails with ease that Grand Cherokees (newer ones) could not even do. I also drove the entire beach of Padre Island with no issues (60 miles). (Many centuries ago I once got my 2wd Ford ranger stuck on Padre Island Beach) Don’t let anyone tell you the Sport Big Bend can’t do off road. I have since traded in my sport for the full size Bronco Badlands 2.7 with sas after waiting for it for 2 years.

My Badlands came in at 46,700 CDN The only thing it wasn’t specd with was the cargo tray and wildtrak tires- as far as I can tell. Bought it off the lot in a moment of total impulse and traded my 13 Flex LTD. so glad I did 😊 Also, very cool to hear someone with a racing background extolling the virtues of a 3 cylinder engine. Great review

Good choice! Looking forward to trying a Badlands soon. Shame they don't make the Flex any longer. Such a cool thing. As for the 3-cylinder, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm sure there's all kinds of unsubstantiated criticism here on KZbin, but most car KZbinrs don't have a clue how to drive.

@@BrianMakse Yes, the Flex was an awesome car. I had an 09 and a 13. But I'm not trapping my kids around to sports etc since they're in university so it was time to move on. I still miss it occasionally but the Bronco Sport Badlands actually has more get up and go. Its a fun drive

Good to hear that Ford Interiors seem to be becoming more competitive. Even better, I’m glad they seem to be adding so much personality to their newest offerings. Hopefully, this will all trickle down to any cars they choose to bring back to North America because the Mustang is getting lonely.
