2021 Ford Figo Automatic: First Drive Review I 8 Things You Should Know!

The Ford Figo is now 6 years old but to this day it is adored by many, and for a good reason. It has always been great from behind the wheel and now new for 2021 is the addition of a 6-speed automatic gearbox mated to the same 1.2 litre petrol motor. As compared to its competition like the Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, the Figo uses a more sophisticated torque converter transmission which should result in a more smoother drive. Despite the more expensive transmission the Figo actually undercuts its AMT rivals! It also has best in segment safety features.

Go for Aspire diesel...good milage compared to ecosport as weight is less for same engine and hence superfast acceleration. I've made 700 km in a day and it is comfortable.

I understand that the driving pleasure is second to none but a mileage of 9-10 kmpl from a 1200 cc engine (manual) is hard to digest, also considering the fact that we keep the Rpm levels below 2500. Even the VW polo’s new TSI engine gives you more mileage when compared to Ford’s naturally aspirated one :x
